Excellent quality finishes throughout- fresh flowers in the room was a lovely touch. Excellent host who booked a table for us nearby when he realised marina bistro would be closed that day.

Stunning views from the guest lounge, large terrace (with outdoor seating), dining area & the room. Great food (dinner & breakfasts cooked by Sally). Dinner was at a reasonable cost for large portions, using fresh, tasty ingredients. There was an excellent choice of breakfast items, cooked to order. I was impressed by the food. Lovely, spacious room with nice decor, fresh flowers & chocolates; a comfortable bed & pillows; & a large modern ensuite shower room. Corrie House was clean & neat with welcoming & thoughtful touches. Roger was very welcoming & provided lots of great suggestions of things to do or see nearby, including the Kilmartin museum, local walks & places to dine. Parking spaces were available. The gardens were lovely as well. Nothing.

Nestled in an idyllic location close to Oban and Kilmartin Glen, Corrie House met and exceeded our expectations, offering beautifully decorated rooms and well-appointed bathrooms with quality bed and bath linens, dreamy mattresses, plush pillows and ample storage. Roger and Sally Gaskell have taken great care to create a 5-star luxury accommodation, supplying every wish and need for travellers, from fluffy robes and slippers to designer tea and coffee, fresh milk and bottled water. Corrie House feels like a home away from home, with welcoming reception rooms as well as a sweeping deck, offering sea views of nearby Mull, Scarba and Jura. The owners are kind and helpful, willing to assist travellers with dining arrangements, taxis and information about local attractions. The breakfast menu must also be lauded, with brewed coffees, lattes and cappuccinos complimenting a choice of old favourites and fresh takes like avocado toast with mozzarella and a kick of chilis. Animal lovers will be delighted to know that four-legged friends are welcome, and for those hankering for a little puppy love, there are two darling dogs at home in the kitchen, well-behaved and waiting for a wolfhound or schnauzer to book the premises. We will definitely return to this lovely property. Nothing

  • Engine customer Apr 2025

The house is in such a peaceful location with spectacular views from the sitting room, dining room and two windows in our room. We were able to have a drink on the terrace in the evening supplied with cushions and a rug watching the sun go down. This is what the west coast of Scotland is all about! The breakfast was excellent. Very filling and set us up for the day.
