This family-run hotel is located in front of the long beach at Duhnen, a 10-minute drive from Cuxhaven town center. Built in 2015, the Skylounge is a great place to sunbathe and the ahoi thalasso center 1640 feet away offers courses in yoga, pilates and more. Guests can build sandcastles, go mudflat hiking, sailing or windsurfing here in the Wattenmeer Nature Park. Vier Jahreszeiten restaurant serves a daily breakfast and a selection of Northern German dishes. Snacks and drinks are also served in Kamp’s Bistro with outdoor terrace or in the stylish Lido Bar lounge. The traditional Störtebeker pub offers a pool/billiard table and darts.

Great hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. The evening meal in the hotel Bistro was superb! Comfortable bed, very well appointed room. Top breakfast and great view from the balcony Soundproofing between the rooms wasn't very good.

Exceptional view over the watt and view of Neuwerk - exactly what I had requested. Although major changes in Duhnen, my revisit to my home town was exciting and brought back many memories.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had a modern touch, a great shower. The location is gold since it is right next to the beach front. So there are plenty of opportunities for walks, beach hangouts and little adventures. It was a bit of a challenge to get a nice spot in the breakfast area during corona times. The hotel also has an indoor pool, and I reached out before my stay to confirm that it is open. However, I did not get a response on time. Since every guest had to be tested before checking in, I would expect the indoor pool to be open. This was not the case, and we still paid the full price, as far as I can see.
