Quiet area Hidden price (city tax not mentioned or added to room price) it was business trip (business trips not obligates you to pay city tax- I was not informed about this by host ) Batrhroom mirror so low that I had to bend over like hobbit,

We don't speak a lot of German and found it difficult to understand about the extra charges and how to pay. (Not sure now, we got it right) We saw nobody to ask. We left cash on the bedroom table which felt very unsatisfactory. I originally thought the price I paid Booking.com was the total, but hadn't read the fine print. A hotel can ask for more in "local charges". We have never been asked for an extra €16 before. It seemed a bit much on top of what we paid. Better just to include it in the price of the room so it is quite clear how much the room actually costs.

Due to Corona had to walk to Gasthof Zur Post for breakfast, but it was worth it. Very clean and comfortable. Mattresses soft but got used to it quickly.
