Breakfast and kind stuff. Plus they had curtains, which make your room dark so you can get proper sleep. My pillow, it was too soft.

A very nice and cosy hotel. The owners are extremey nice and helpful :) I liked the breakfast with a rich choice of fruits that is a rare case for hotels. The room was very clean and carefully tided up every day. I was also very happy to have a small fridge in the room. The location is convenient: just 2 min walk to Edeka and Lidl, 17-20 min walk to the train station, 20 min walk to "Alte Liebe" harbor. Many thanks for the nice vacation! This was not a problem for me, but if you are not a fan of stairs, please note that the hotel is located in an old building with no lift and you need to climb the stairs to reach your room or exit. The breakfast starts at 8 a.m. Again, for me it was ok, but if you want to travel and start early in the morning this can be a bit late.

Very charming property with character! Breakfast was really nice - a staff person even asked if they could make anything for us. Bed was extremely comfortable. The room and bathroom were quite small but I don't think this is unusual for Germany and I didn't take off any "points" for that. They were very clean and certainly adequate. I was frustrated that when we arrived, there was no one there who spoke English, not even a little English, but hey this is Germany and I'm certainly not taking off any points for that. The next morning, however, one of the workers (I think the son of the owners) did speak English and he went out of his way to ask if we needed anything. There are not enough parking spots in the back, so if you get back to your hotel late, you will have to park on the street and possibly across the street. Not a huge issue. I don't know the history of this hotel, but it is obviously old, with no elevator. So if you have heavy luggage it can be difficult to get upstairs. The lady owner did happen to be nearby when she saw me trying to lug my large suitcase upstairs, and she immediately grabbed it from me and took it upstairs herself. Very nice of her as she was no youngster. I guess that should not be under the "negative" part of my review!
