Location. Ants all over the bathroom, washing machine was being run at all hours of the day & was above the 2nd floor (where we stayed) which was very loud. Workers get rooms mixed up, we were woken up at 4am one morning because they thought we had a tour (we did not). Workers also overcharged my card and had to pay me back in soles (in cash). No ventilation in bathroom, so it stayed very very wet after showering. Shower also quickly went from hot to cold to hot again (and repeated through the shower). There was also no heat so it was cold even with the blankets they provide.

This hotel is a 10 minute walk to Wanchaq train station. Ideal if you are using Peru rail. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk to the more touristy part of Cusco and the main plaza Some of the guests were very noisy at night - though this isn’t really the hotel’s fault
