Great room. Great shower. Good design. Nice and comfy bed. The pool bar on the 10th floor demands a minimum charge of 300,000 VDN per person when coming in for a night cap in the evening. The fact that we were hotel guests did not matter. We felt it was a rip-off and ride. Looked for a bar outside. Also: the hotel puts near the free water and coffee some snacks. Nobody said anything about them being for a fee and no price list was provided as proof. I tried one. It was horrible. Threw it in the bin. When we checked out they made a sweep of the room to see if we took something and came back accusing us of taking the snack without paying. It was embarrassing. We are talking about 15 cents!!!!

The night market and the ancient town are amazing and you have to be there to see it yourselves! By the way, the Grab app works great in Hoi An. The streets are very narrow in Hoi An.

Value for money. The pool will be better if it is a heated pool.

The location was perfect for day trips in and out of the city, and the hotel’s facilities were excellent. The restaurant and pool area were beautiful, and everything was clean and well-maintained. I didn’t get a chance to try the spa or rooftop bar, but overall, my stay was relaxing, comfortable, and memorable. Highly recommend.

Excellent location for work. Quiet enough to do online meeting. Surrounding food/restaurents are the great value and tasty. Employees were willing to go extra miles to making sure my stay was as confortable as possible. Thinking of bringing my family next time. Great view to han river from the roof top bar.

I liked almost everything. The only thing I would change is when I went and got a two hour massage the air conditioner was making a very loud noise the entire time. I was kind of waiting for the staff to fix it or have me change rooms for the massage, but it continued the whole time. It made it impossible to truly enjoy the experience.

Our room was great, comfortable, we were happy. Staff throughout the hotel are friendly, are eager to assist. Breakfast disappointed. We always notify ahead of our vegetarian diet. We travel regularly but found the breakfast to be limited for vegetarians. As pointed out by staff, there was a vegetable fried rice or veg noodles however taste was really bland and very little vegetable. The salads available were ok but doubled up on most of the 2 or 3 salads, little variety. Last day there was a Beetroot Salad, labelled, which my husband took and before realising it, there was ham or pork meat added to the beetroot/mayonnaise. Consequently, he had an upset stomach that day. Guests are advised on arrival that should you wish to use the Rooftop Bar between 5pm-11:30pm, guests must spend a minimum of VND.300,000 each. So for a guest wishing to have a fruit juice, something simple after a big day, not expensive cocktails, it makes it off limits, a shame when one would hope to be able to access all hotel facilities.

Room and common area nicely appointed. Music from a wedding on site or from the night club next door could be heard from our room

Yes I did , everything looked exactly like it does on pictures , the staff was amazing , security , concierge as well as room service and the cleaning staff. I really loved my stay I would like for them to make sure the TV is working and to be able to watch YouTube and Netflix

Near with local area, walking distance to Han market (slightly away). The bed is just too soft for my liking

Affordable price The bed is too soft for my liking. The hotel rooms is a bit old but it is welly maintained

xin chào, We really enjoyed this hotel. The room (premier de luxe double with a view of the river) was spacious and tidy, perfectly cleaned daily. The breakfast buffet was more than enough for us and very good quality. The rooftop was a perfect place to enjoy the breakfast The hotel is also perfectly located, near the promenade next to the river in a neighborhood with many options for going out. The beach is a bit further away, and we recommend booking a taxi or Grab there. The reception was very good, also personally picked up by taxi from the hotel at the airport, (for a small fee) The personal service is exceptional. At New Orient Hotel the guest is central and nothing is too much to make the stay as pleasant as possible. We were very well assisted in excursions, via taxi service (if possible via the hotel taxi, and otherwise via an external taxi company), but always safe and well organized Thanks to Lucie, Mya, Rose and Wendy for the assistance in planning excursions, but also for arranging the small daily matters. Thanks to the concierge staff for the nice chats Thanks to all the other staff we didn't see but who certainly contributed to the good stay. Our heart is now a little bit in Vietnam, we hope to come back soon. When we return to Vietnam, we will definitely stay at this hotel again. Nothing, really nothing

Our stay was comfortable and nice despite the funeral service that was going on at the properly right next to the hotel where funeral music could be heard from our hotel room for a few days. The daily buffet was nice with a good variety of food selection. The service provided by all hotel staff was excellence with special mention for Rose and Mya who helped us with the day trip and transport booking and offered us good prices too.

A really nice, clean hotel. We had a twin sharing room and it was really big. Comfortable bed with 2 pillows. The restaurant at the top floor offers really good food. The view was also stunning. The Spa was good. Very elegant and clean. The masseurs were also experienced. None. It was great for us for our last night stay in our Vietnam trip (Da Nang and Hoi An).

The gentleman who ran the breakfasts, l believe his last name was Huang ( or something similar) was exceptional. A great manner, nothing was too much trouble and extremely helpful. If l ran a hotel l would try and poach him from you. You have to keep and promote him before someone else grabs him. When we booked, actually my partner did, l didn’t realise we were so far from the beach.

We traveled as a family to Vietnam with two babies under 2. For 4 days of our trip we stayed at the New Orient Hotel. The staff were outstanding, friendly, aware and courteous. We stayed in a suite with a semi river view. Everything was clean and house keeping put in attention to detail. The gypsy restaurant is incredible, fine dining with option of A' La carte or set menu. The rooftop pool was stunning and the cocktails were delish. The kids club was an adequate size, though not staffed and children must have a parent or nanny accompanying them. The staff were so sweet. They thought it was our wedding anniversary (not 100% sure how/why this happened), they gave us a beautiful little cake and set up the room with rose petals and towels made into swans. Great spot to look at local Vietnam and a less touristy spot. Local street markets with fruit, veg, banh mi and other interesting items. For last minute snacks (and if like us you're traveling with babies who need milk) there is a corner store that sells most conveniences at a good price. The building also has magnificent ball rooms and function areas. There is an exquisite bridal dress store two shop fronts down the road, if you are travelling for a wedding this is worth noting. A wedding occurred during our stay and while it was a big wedding there was no noise reaching the suite. I only knew about the wedding due to the signage and extra staff attending elevators. While the property is riverside a 'Grab car' to the beach cost $3-$6 depending on requirements. All in all the property was well worth the stay and we would stay again. The only flaw we could find and this is truely being picky is that there are two very small flights of stairs (maybe 15 stairs total) that can be a little challenging with a stroller The staff were very accommodating and always offered to assist.

This is an outstanding property. Our room (living room and separate bedroom) were very comfortable and clean. The staff bent over backwards to provide outstanding service. They had a car pick us up from airport, we hired a car for 2 days - one to go to Marble Mtn/cocunt Forest/Hoi An and another day to Ba NA Hills. Mr. Quoc was our driver and was outstanding. Lucie was in ongoing contact with me via WhatsApp before the trip and during our stay. She and Mya were so pleasant and wanted us to have a great time. We also received complimentary spa treatment and return car to airport as we stayed 4 nights. We have not had such outstanding service on any of our many other trips. Both pools were great and enjoyed drinks on the rooftop bar. I don’t usually write this much but it was truly wonderful. N/a

Most of the staff were extremely polite and helpful with many extra requests. Excellent Western restaurants with romantic atmosphere inside, and very short walk to superb, Michelin Vietnamese dining outside as well. Nice big pool with big lazy chairs. Too far from beach to walk.
