Great location , a friendly staff

When I booked this hotel on Booking.com, it didn't say that I had to pay only in cash. But they said only cash, and after a long conversation, they let us into the room, but I had to leave my passport at the reception until I brought the cash. I know you get what you pay for, but I got exhausted while checking out at the reception.

Location is superb. Soft bed and pillows which I really loved. No tea, coffee provided, only 2 bottles of water per day.

The receptionists were very nice and the locations was good, very near to beach, shops, and restaurants. If you are given a room that is on the top (9th) floor, there will be problems: 1) During a previous stay, I had a room on the 8th floor, underneath the pool; and I heard the loud sound of running water that kept me from getting a good night’s sleep. This time, I was on the 9th floor, right next to the pool. All day but especially at night, there was constant annoying pool equipment noise, like a cycling pump. I had to leave my laptop on a news channel all night to drown out the noise so that I could get a few total hours sleep. The hotel should warn guests about the noise before giving such a room to them. 2) The bed was too firm. 3) The rooms had only bath towels, no washcloths or hand towels. 4) There were no napkins or facial tissues provided.

Incredible good location and the pool is so good. Close to everywhere and also staff is so friendly. There is parking area for motorbikes too.

The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay. I also enjoyed the pool at the top; even though it’s on the smaller side, it was still a nice spot to relax and unwind. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby offering both Vietnamese and Korean food, so you’ll never run out of options. Overall, a really solid place to stay in Da Nang. I’d definitely recommend it!

Close to the beach. Pretty quiet most of the time. Bathroom was clean, and water was provided every day. The beds were so firm/hard. They need to put an extra cushioning mattress cover on them for some comfort. Bedroom floor can use some good moping.

The room was of a good size and comfortable. The staff was helpful and the location amazing. I had issues during this staying that I did not had to face in any other previous travel of mine. The most horrendous was that in my second night, at 5am, during my sleep, a stranger entered my room with his key, kind of drunk and said out loud "F*ck!" when he realized it was not his room. I woke up confused but then I became afraid. I let the staff aware of this problem but I do not think the lady understood because of limit English. The bath shower was not the best also because it is in a down position so that you can not shower properly. Finally the TV was not working also, but I did not mind that. I really hope they adjust this problem of other people being able to enter a different room with their key so no one can suffer this problem again.

I wanted to give Sea Wind Hotel a 9.5 but there was no option to do that. This place is nearly perfect. It is practically next to the beach. Rooms are large and clean. Phuong, the manager at the desk when I checked in, gave me a room on the corner with a large window and good view of the streets down below. There are numerous shops in this part of Danang. There is no restaurant on site; but they are everywhere here, starting next door. The rates (room prices) at Sea Wind are very good for a hotel of this type and available rooms. Great wifi and A/C. Phuong and all other staff are exceptionally nice and very accommodating. This was my third time in Danang in the last year. I've stayed at many hotels already (from budget hotels to expensive 5-star accommodations), see which ones I would recommend. So far, Sea Wind is the best budget hotel (less than $35 USD for most 1-2 person rooms. I come to Danang every few months from USA and plan to stay at this hotel. If the first 2 considerations are addressed by the time I return in a few months, the hotel will be a '10'. 1) The room could use an inside sheer curtain to allow light but keep people in the hotel across the street from seeing you when you're not dressed. 2) A curtain or blind on the bathroom window would prevent early daylight and bright city lights into the bathroom, which is separated from the bedroom by only a large frosted glass wall. 3) The bed was a little firm; but I eventually got used to it.

The hotel was a short walk to the beach and had a rooftop pool with 2 loungers and a couple of chairs. It had an elevator, good water pressure and lots of hot water. The wifi was good. There was an electrical outlet near the mirror. It was on a quiet street. The room was small, the city view from the 3rd floor was poor. There was no fan so we had to use the ac at night to keep the room cool, but because the ac blows from the side across the bed, it gets too cold. There was a kettle, but no complimentary coffee or tea, and no coffee cups, only glasses. There were only two bath towels and no hand towels. The bed was very firm. We were supposed to be able to pay at the property by credit card, but on arrival they required cash payment.
