It s less grand in reality than on pictures. It is a small family hotel. That being said, it s great value for money, and we didnt have anything to complain about in the end. Location is good, with many small restaurents around. beach was always red flag the week in march when we visited. Not the hotel fault. March is good to visit (not too hot), not so good for beach. May - August is better for beach from what i understand.

I was looking for a hotel offering SPA services for my birthday and I booked Grand Sea View Hotel & SPA for this occasion. Before my arrival I had tried to contact the hotel twice but unfortunately I received zero response. In the meantime the hotel changed its name on booking.com to Sea Care Hotel &SPA but surprisingly, when I arrived, it turned out the hotel still has the old name. I also contacted the customer service of booking.com to try to contact the property for me but even they were unsuccessful. Eventually, a day before arrival I reached the hotel by phone, confirmed my stay and the receptionist confirmed that their SPA is open. However, upon arrival when I asked about the SPA offer, the receptionist showed me the exit... Both SPA is being renovated and the pool is closed - they both were the main reasons why I booked that hotel. What's more... I arrived around 10am and asked about early check-in - the lady told me there is a sub-charge of 30% so I decided to wait. I came back at 14:10 and was informed the room is not ready yet! So basically if I had paid additional 30% at 10am, I would get a room but when I came after the check-in time, the room still wasn't ready. It all does not matter because this hotel is apparently not offered by booking anymore and it definitely is not called SEA CARE HOTEL&SPA!

Location: very closed to the beach, albeit NOT beach-front as claimed in the description. Room was spacious and moderately well maintained. The untruthful description: they claimed to have bicycle rental, there wasn't any; they claimed in one of the Q&A that the balcony is spacious enough to sit down in, it was not (french balcony is more like it)

Location in a newly built touristic quarter with good choice of bars and restaurants nearby. Close to beach. Nice room furnishing. Reception area looks more like a hostel than a hotel.

Closed to many cafe , pharmacy and beach. We can even find indian and Singaporean cuisine in front of the hotel. Hotel signboard is Grand Sea View, and this is the name I got during my booking, but the hotel name changed to Sea View Care Hotel in booking.com. We took extra time to search for the hotel.

location. Balkon very small - upgrading room makes not much sense. bathroom washbasin had a water damage and every time using we flooded the floor. there was one (very) old Plastik box with rotten food in our wardrobe.

Hotels ares not just about the room and the facilities they offer, which determine how pleasurable your stay was. It is essentially how you are treated by the staff of the hotel and how welcome they make you feel. On my solo visit to Da Nang I was without knowledge about the local area, however the help, support and advice of Vy Nguyễn made my short stay in Da Nang the best part of my travels across Vietnam. She was truly exceptional. She gave advice on what to do, where to go and arranged all the logistics for me to be able to do those things. Always kind and courteous, a real credit to the hotel. Thank you for making my stay such a pleasurable one.
