many stairs, no elevator

The doors to the room and bathroom seemed very loud even with ear plugs I was awaken several times at night.

Central location. That's it. Bathroom floor. No fridge. No cabinet.

Pros: Hot water, good pillow & blankets, good location, quiet. Taking off shoes going into each room is a good idea to keep rooms clean. Good idea for separate area in each dorm to place baggage Cons: Reception area is disgustingly dirty, trashy, uninviting. Bad lighting, dark, dingy. There was a local sleeping on a cot when I woke up early in the morning. Staff was not overly welcoming. Dorm Room mixed - clean flooring, curtains on beds are in disarray. Walls along bed are gross. Hooks in bunks are broken. Washroom in dorm room is dirty & black mold on the ceiling & walls and tiles. No window in room except in bathroom but door is always shut. No offer for lock/key for lockers. No room key or lock on doors to room or building so never quite felt safe to leave my things. NO ELEVATOR and its 5 flights of stairs to top!

Very well located, excellent location to move around Da Nang. The room was super spacious; I stayed in a single room with a wonderful balcony, which was definitely a highlight. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, and overall the service was very good. That said, there were a couple of small details that could be improved: there was no shampoo provided, and the cleanliness could be slightly better. With such a great room and such a prime location, improving these small points would make the stay even better. In any case, the value for the money paid is very good, and I would still recommend it.

Good location - the private room wasnt properly cleaned( hair and other residues from past guests) - the towels were smelly and there were no towel hangers in the shower - bad smell in the room and the reception - no fridge no kettle inside the room - check out is 11 ( usually 12 pm in most of vietnam) - for the price paid you get way better hotels in DA nang with room service and elevator, etc..

Location

Just little things that take away from the value. Rooms should be cleaned or swept if you’re staying more than one or two nights. They need blackout curtains on the door to your room because it lets in a lot of light. It would be nice if they put soap/shampoo in the showers like every other private room I’ve stayed in. Still decent for the price but these little things could really boost the value and experience.

No bathroom gel or shampoo. No big deal but if a guest doesn't have these essentials then it is inconvenient.

girl at the front desk is very nice. She even carried my bag all the way to the fifth floor. Very helpful and very kind. Bed was very comfortable and guests were quiet.

This hostel has convenient stairs both inside and outside the dorm. Great location. Near the beach and spas. Very cheap. The toilet inside the dorm is so damp. There's also no shower gel and shampoo.

Room smells clean, fresh always. They even have all essentials for females in the female dorm! It's perfect in all aspect!

The room aas really good, not congested, the staff was super helpful, the whole vibe was really good, the location was fantastic, overall loved it Just that it didnt have breakfast, which is fine

Pretty nice dorm room. The women's room is away from the street noise. This was nice. The beds were comfortable. The location can't be beat - for real, it's central to all things My An and it's not even too noisy either! They have drinking water to refill your bottle if you ask. The dogs are cute. The staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. The bathroom had a bad moldy smell. But as long as the bathroom door was kept shut, it was ok. The lockers were outside the room on the covered balcony. This was a minor inconvenience, but it was ok and actually nice because it meant it was quiet when someone got into their locker while you were sleeping.

Very quiet and clean hostel. Close to the beach and restaurants. Les ladies at the réception are very kind and helpfull. Bus stop close on main road. I want come again. Thank you for all. All was great.

The staff are really helpful and friendly. It was really close to the beach, maybe a 5 mins walk. Lots of restaurants nearby and it’s only just across Bikini Bottom Express. There were mosquitoes in the room. There was no hair dyer, you need to request it from the staff and return it after using.

I liked Light House Hostel for: - Russian and English speaking staff - comfy bed with privacy curtain, lamp and socket to charge laptop and phone - lockers, air conditioner and fan in my dorm room - nice and clean en-suite bathroom - free and good working wi-fi internet - fantastic location: café, restaurants, pharmacy, ATM, massage salons, supermarkets, beach are 1-2 minutes of walking distance from the hostel. Dragon bridge and Bac My An Market was also not far from the hostel. - electric kettle and stove at the reception, where they can boil water for tea or warm up food - offered laundry, sightseeing tours and transportation services - daily cleaning of hostel premises - absence of lift/elevator (a lot of stairs to walk up or down) that was helpful as I was trying to exercise and lose extra pounds I can highly recommend Light House Hostel. I liked everything.

Hestel must provide breakfast etc..

Dirty...I asked when they do the cleaning and they told me at 11 am and then when I saw the bathroom the definition of cleaning was only to change the trash bin.

Location easy access to all that I needed Perhaps because I’m English but would have liked a kettle in single room for hot water
