Eldorado Lodge & Restaurant

The owner is a lovely man and I wish my review was better. The location is good with a nice cooling breeze. The room had A/C. El Dorado is shabby, old, drab and needs refurbishment. From the old front door to the faulty shower head. Maintenance is none existing. If I had a screw driver I would of fixed a few things. The included breakfast never happened. Had to go to the local cafe every morning. Something is wrong here.

The rooms are great value and the restaurant is excellent. And it is in a perfect beachside location, very close to good cafes, restaurants and live music. The staff are fantastic, incredibly friendly and helpful. Tell them what type of activities you want to enjoy and they will help you find them. The rooms are basic -- if you're looking for 5-star, this isn't it. But they are clean, they have everything you need, and the price is fantastic.

Was really nice! Perfect location - cute room. Lovely shower and bathroom Noise if near the kitchen coz the staff talk loudly. Also breakfast was way too expensive if you eat separately. Dinner was lovely

The staff were amazing, very friendly & helpful. Location was great close to Dahab Centre, approx 10min walk. Nice beach front to relax & good vibe. Internet was not good in the room but ok outside in the cafe & veranda.

Location! Awesome beachfront and a 5 minute walk from the main strip area. The shower pressure in my room was weak, but checking with my friend it was just my room

Loved the cleanliness, location and service provided by the hosts. Karim provided a 10/10 experience with helping us out with any request and went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect. Saad was very helpful in helping us manage the extension. We loved the place so much, we ended up extending our stay. We will definitely be back again.

The location was good, pretty quiet but a close walk to the boardwalk commercial strip. The Egyptian staff were extremely kind and helpful. I was disappointed with my stay. The price of the room was very high by Egyptian standards, so I was expecting a nice hotel but this is really a budget backpacker hostel priced like a fancy hotel. The wifi didn't work for most of our time there, which was a problem because I was working remotely. We had no running water one morning. Beds were not very comfortable. Room was clean, but not very nice and did not have good sonic insulation.

Location, right across from the beach. The restaurant food was lovely. The shower water did not drain away.

The staff here work so hard to maintain the place and keep guests happy. There is a beach area right in front of the hotel which they are constantly cleaning and tidying. I loved the location and the layout of the hotel and the yoga deck overlooking the ocean is great! They took care of all my needs during my 8 day stay. Good aircon, too. Nothing

Great location Good place to book for when we arrived but moved swiftly on to much nicer place! Staff made little effort to engage once we’d checked in; it felt impersonal Ate there once but only once because we ordered focaccia but got pizza. Expensive and not worth it

It's was good location, perfect for divers and surfers

Eldorado has a perfect location in quiet area of Dahab yet not too far from the buzz. Vicenzo and his staff will ensure that nothing lacks during your stay. Everyone is very helpful and polite and will go out of their way to accommodate all the requests. Food is delicious with wide variety of options. Even after we checked out (due to full booking) we ended up coming back to a restaurant for our meals and the beach.
