Prime Location – The hotel is conveniently situated near the lake and night market, making it easy to explore the area. Clean & Well-Maintained – The property and rooms are kept spotless. Exceptional Staff – The reception team went above and beyond, arranging a car and driver for my first day. Last-Minute Upgrade – After staying four nights, the staff kindly upgraded me to a suite on my final night, showing great hospitality after me finally loosing my patience. Terrible for Light Sleepers – The walls are extremely thin, making it impossible to ignore noise from neighboring rooms. Constant Disturbances – Conversations, coughing, sneezing, and even TV sounds are clearly audible. Worse with Groups – Loud guests turn the hotel into a chaotic dorm-like experience due to the lack of soundproofing. Wrong Room Allocation - While I booked a double deluxe room I was assigned a twin bed room with two single beds joined together. Also the screen was welcoming some other guest and never reflected my name for the duration of my stay at the Marigold Hotel. You can literally see a plug point emerge in the middle of the headboard for the bed. While the staff’s efforts were commendable, the poor construction quality (especially the paper-thin walls) made my stay unbearable. I would not return to Hotel Marigold, despite its great location and helpful team. A major redesign is needed to fix these issues.

Clean, spacious. Walking distance to the Lake. Upon arrival and check in, staff told me I don’t have reservations. It’s been many weeks back that I booked online. Then she told me again she can’t find it and insisting i booked less than 1 week prior. It took time waiting for this front desk lady to find my booking. We have to wait at the lobby.

Extremely luxurious! Hotel staffs are also very helpful.

The property was very clean, and staff were very pleasant. Our room was facing a wall so was very dark in our room, also our bed was quite hard. The location was quite far out, so had to get bikes or taxi’s everywhere.

Good location. Nice rooms. Comfortable bed. Extensive roadworks going on outside the front door. Breakfast choices were not great.

Staff were very friendly First evening fire alarm went off in room. Staff came and tried to blame it on us for smoking. We do not smoke. Later that evening after we were asleep staff rang door bell and came in and removed the alarms from the ceiling saying there was a problem showing at the reception desk, alarms were never replaced during our stay. Also on the first night, main light switch was broken. Lights (extremely bright) continually turned on and off. We asked for a differnt room, they had none. Had no sleep, lights were fixed in the morning. Room was damp., there was a water mark and damp patch 300mm up the wall along the external wall. Tiles floor outside the entry door was always wet and extremely slippery. Shower had no water pressure. Airconditioning cooling only, Delat is quite cold this time of year and room needs heating. Asked for a discount for the first night because of no sleep due to lights, was told to take it up with bookings.com

I especially liked how the hotel bellboys quickly assisted us as soon as we were entering the hotel. The other lady that offered to assist us with our meals was great too. I couldn’t dial to the lobby even as I pressed 1 or 0

It is very centrally located. You do not have a lot of noise from the street. The room was spacious and the hygiene was up to standard. It is a modern hotel. The bed was very good and clean. I can recommend it The breakfast buffet was not very large and there wasn't a lot of choices. The room smelled a bit of mold and you couldnt heat the room, only cool, what is very unpractical in a city which gets cold in winter. Also the staff wasn't very friendly when we wanted to have breakfast, a lady told us we only could eat for 30 minutes because they closes. Not very professional.

Very comfortable, well appointed, clean rooms. I particularly appreciated the efforts in furnishing (eg lovely wallpaper and not just painted walls).
