Hoang Quan Hotel

Supper nice staff, they really made me feel welcome. Very clean and comfortable room. Good hot water. I booked a city view room, I got a view of a narrow alley. A space heater would be nice, the room felt cold a few times.

Affordable and clean There was no hot water for shower.After contacting staff they did their best to attend to the issue.But it was just barely warm. I had to change rooms upon arrival.The middle receptacle on the electric outlet was dead.You had to plug in the refrigerator and TV ? and kettle yourself.LET ME MAKE IT CLEAR THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT !!!! the hotel not so good.I wouldn’t return.It was not horrible but not a place you would return to.

The hotel is one of the best I have stayed in in Vietnam for the price! The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are lovely and cleaned daily and the staff are the friendliest and happiest we have met in our travels - highly recommend.

We could walk to most of what we wanted from this location, still the rooms where not noisy and the rooms were spacious with a separate shower from the toilets. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and most speak great English.

Compared to similarly priced rooms around Vietnam, Hoang Quan hotel was exceptional value. In fact, it was the best value hotel experience I have had in Vietnam after many trips and several months of accumulated travel. My room was very quiet, had 3 good sized windows that I could open for cross ventilation, good insulation so that heat and cold were not extreme. The room was much larger than you would find in rooms 3x this price. Floors, walls, and bathroom were all in excellent condition and working order. The tiled floors were level and well laid and super clean. The bed was king size or larger. Pillows, mattress, and linen are excellent quality, as were towels. There was ample hot water at a good temperature. The general state of repair of the building and common areas is excellent, and immaculately clean. The lift worked without fault. The managers grow bonsai and vegetables on the property, which adds to the understated elegance and homely ambience. The location is highly strategic for tourism. Within 300 meters there are two excellent vegan restaurants, the closest being "vegan heaven", which has two locations in Da Lat. Now the best I have saved for last. The hotel manager I dealt with is An Tam, a 30 something lady who provided me with the best service I have experienced in many decades of international travel. From her first messages she was prompt, clear, efficient, with the most cheery and uplifting nature. All my messages were answered within 15 minutes, her comprehension of English is outstanding, and she picked up on the nuances of Western humor. When prompted she answered all my queries with excellent advice. Particularly she recommended a business run by Leo who has motorcycle riders to take tourists around looking at the farms, temples, and monasteries of Da Lat. This was one of the best valued tours I have done in Vietnam. An made my stay at Hoang Quan hotel a home away from home. Nothing

Breakfast option was not available, but a number of eateries are nearby. The staff are exceptionally polite, prompt and professional at hospitality to ensure your comfort, care and helpful with any request beyond their obligation. All my requests to resolve my oral issue due to MSG was promptly attended to as well as printing of my airline boarding card and shuttle bus conformation. Very hard to imagine of anything to identify/list...

Lovely hotel with nice location not too far from the center of Da Lat. Big room with lots of space for luggage and shelves for everything. Water bottles provided as well. The bathroom was spacious and had nice hot water. The people working there especially Tam were so so kind and helpful with anything you need. Highly recommend this hotel.

We came to Dalat to celebrate Valentine's day together. The host went above and beyond to make our stay special by preparing our room perfectly for Valentine's day. She was so happy for us and her enthusiasm was contagious. Every time we passed the lobby she brightened our day! We recommend the hotel for anyone that wants to feel welcomed to Dalat and stay in the city center.

The room was very spacious and clean, bathroom with glass for the shower, very close to the center and the market. It can a bit noisy cause you are very close to the center. Very interesting that oldschool hotel vibe, with the smoking table at the end of the corridors next to the window. Only thing that could br improved is the mattress. The staff was lovely, An Tâm took very good care.of us, she even checked how we were doing after we left. Definitely great value for money The mattress felt a bit old and you could feel some springs. It wasn't unconfortable, we slept well, but it's something that can be improved

The hotel was in a good area with some places to eat and get sweet treats within walking distance, it was also walking distance into the main shopping area and really easy as we also had a bike. The staff at this hotel were super friendly, kind and enthusiastic especially A Tam who is a really lovely woman. The room was comfortable for our needs and cleaned daily with new towels and cups.

This was a lovely hotel overlooking a canal and super close to the markets. The staff were lovely and even offered me a room upgrade. The room was big, clean, and super comfortable, with lovely views from the windows. This was one of my favourite stays in Vietnam. I would definitely stay again

Staff is very friendly and helpful. English speaking staff. Beds are pretty comfortable. Hot water is ok. Music from outside at the evening. It’s not the hotel problem, but little bit annoying.
