What a delightfull place. Lady of the house Lee knows what is necassery for a relaxed stay. Breakfast, pool, rooms and atmosphere are all you need. Enough to do if you prefer daytrips. But also very pleasant for chilling and enjoying the tastefull dinners from Lee, Zula and Karen. Nothing

Great host: very friendly and smily. Our family enjoyed breakfast with other people at one big table - it was interesting experience. Comfortable room with all needed things: we had only one night there but it was enough to understand that it's a great place to stay. I believe it's the best option for 1-2 days stay because you don't have much to see at this area. Great quality/price object. Would like to stay there another time!

This is an exceptional place to spend a night or two surrounded by wonderful countryside in great comfort. The breakfast and dinner were excellent and an opportunity to chat with fellow travellers over a glass or two of wine. Overall, a most enjoyable experience

What a „Gem“? We arrived quite late, the warden-woman very friendly was waiting for us and we were - positively - shoked when entering House Garden and room. What a wonderful, lovely and very picturesc Garden, what a really impressive House and what a comfortable room with noble fuenishings and a exclusive bed! At Morning we enjoyed a great breakfast and have had very pleasant chats with the Landlord couple. They are sooo friendly and cheerful. We can recommend and will love to come back for longer when possible for us…

This lovely old house has clearly been carefully and thoughtfully decorated for the comfort of guests. Our room was amazingly spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast was typically French, with the offer of eggs if wanted. Everything was fresh, and well presented.Our host (Anya) was friendly and helpful, always anxious to ensure our comfort and to attend to anything we might want, including giving us local knowledge. We were on a two day stay at the property, using it as a base for cycling; we were not disappointed. An extra bonus was the fact that we were able to request a very good home cooked meal for the evening of our arrival. The only negative, and this is so minor as to be of little impact most people, was water pressure in the shower, but that said, it was perfectly functional.

Very nice place in a tiny French village located in the middle of the St. Mihiel 14-18 battlefields. Nice central location for exploring. The rooms were large and spotlessly clean. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Very attentive to our needs. The breakfast included excellent fresh ground coffee and eggs from her chickens. Varvinay is a very tiny village...you must drive to get anything (stores, restaurants, etc.). But...that was expected so it's not really a bad thing.
