Located directly by the ski slope leading down to the Uga Express Chairlift in Damüls, the 4-star superior Die Mittagspitze offers an extensive spa and an indoor swimming pool. Free on-site parking is provided. This large and elegant Alpine chalet successfully combines a traditional Alpine atmosphere with modern design furnishings. Die Mittagspitze features a stylish lounge, a large bar with a winter garden and a stylish restaurant with big panoramic windows. It serves regional and international dishes made out of local produce. The comfortable rooms all offer a flat-screen satellite TV and a seating area. They are either furnished in classic or contemporary Alpine style. Some rooms also feature a balcony. The extensive spa offers different types of saunas and a relaxation rooms. Massages and beauty treatments are also available. In addition, Alpenhotel provides a free shuttle service to different ski slopes in Damüls - Mellau Ski Area and the Damüls Train Station for its guests. Special activities for kids, including the babysitting service are also available. From 01 May to 31 October, the Bregenzerwald Card is included with a minimum stay of 3 nights. With this card, guests can use all public buses, swimming pools and cable cars for free.

Excellent, friendly staff all round. Good spa facilities. Food plentiful, typical 'mountain/chalet' food, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Ski in/ski out is good, though not actually on a named run as such, so could be a little challenging for less able skiers. Ski out involves either a hike uphill or hike across a car park but not a major issue. Rooms comfortable but not huge by any means. Bathrooms a little tired? Rooms face road and are very, very warm so leaving window open a little not really an option if a light sleeper. Air conditioning didn't seem to control the temperature?

Good-size room with a superb view of the mountains. Helpful and friendly service from all the staff, and a great location for skiers and boarders, just a short walk from being ski-in, ski-out. The wellness centre is spacious and well kept, and it was very relaxing to have a sauna after a day on the slopes. Bus stop close by for easy connection to train stations. Hard to find fault with anything.

Amazing hotel overlooking the valley . incredible sauna facilities. great breakfast offering. you can snowboard direct to the gondola from the back of the hotel - probably 50m total walking small bathroom for the price
