Dana moon Hotel

this hotel is an old historical house. and all around Dana area are old stone houses. can explore the area by walking. quite and clean place. with garden area and roof sitting areas. location in a friendly small village. none

Very helpful and friendly host. Nothing was too much trouble. He was flexible with meal times and provided me with an excellent breakfast and evening meal. The location and views over Dana Biosphere Reserve were fantastic. I wanted to have fruit for lunch each day and he provided it every day without fail. I would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend to others . There was nothing not to like apart from the pestering cat at meal times. At least he saw the dog off ?

I had an amazing stay at Dana Moon Hostel! The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. My room was spotless, which really added to the comfort of my stay. They even helped organize a fantastic hiking trip, which was a highlight. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a great experience

the hotel located in the heart of Dana nature you can enjoy your meal in front of Dana valley , the room is clean staff are friendly they organize a beautiful an interesting trip in the nature also they gave us a lot of information about hiking program very recommended thanks Rami

it is great place i am living in Jordan Dana is one of the most beautiful places in Jordan the breakfast is excellent you can eat your breakfast on the rooftop you can choose your guide from the hotel they have excellent guides. you can eat dinner there it is delicious. we have reserved a share bathroom room but they upgrade it to a privet bathroom with the same price nothing

The stuff were great they helped us to with our hike, they serve a very good dinner contain meat vegetable and traditional bread we enjoyed our time with Rami he can do any thing to help you We will come back again

The stuff were great they give us all what we need the weather was too cold but they gave us a very good heater also you can find a hot water in the room for breakfast you can eat a very good traditional Jordanian food with hot tea. It was very intristing stay at Dana moon hostel Nothing

"View" from windows is either none, corridor or enterance. View form the roof is only top of Dana. Cold inside.

Cheap price and great advice Room not very insulated in winter, hot water slow to get started.

The owner was nice and the staff was very friendly. The owner took us on a tour to watch the sunset and we ate dinner in the restaurant. It was very delicious.

Exceptional

The manager was friendly, as well as the restaurant lady. Shower water became warm after just 5 minutes. We received not one, but two plug-in mosquito poison vaporizers. Just 4 mosquitos were bugging us through the night, and we were able to kill 3 of them by morning. Horrible sleep. The town is terrorized by a pack of stray dogs who patrol the streets, even at night, while loudly barking and growling. They pass right by the (non sound proof) door of the accommodation between 1AM and 4AM so I hardly had any sleep at all that night. During the day, the pack of dogs doubles in size and walk right *through* the terrace of the accommodation, dangerously close to my wife and kids, while barking, fightning and growling. I like dogs and I've been to many places with stray dogs. Usually they are well behaved and quiet. I've never seen a situation like this. This is not normal. Sorry to say but this accommodation should not be advertised until the stray dog problem is addressed. The owner cancelled the booking as a "no show", even though we showed up on time, paid cash, and spent the night. Weird...
