Onomo Hotel Dar es Salaam

I will definitely choose another place if I need to be again in this city. The hotel conditions is extremely poor: moisture on the bathroom, walls doesn’t seem to be painted in years, chains on the restaurant in poor conditions and a feeling that everything is in decadence. However the price is pretty expensive for a night and even eating on the restaurant is pretty expensive compared to Zanzibar which is much more touristy.

The place is neatly clean It would benefit to have a valet for car parking

The hotel is located in downtown near to most places that I wanted to visit. The facility has a great area where you can just sit and enjoy city view. The facility is located in a clouded area, a lot of people and traffic movements when you step out of the facility.

breakfast was good, location was also near the main town. price is bit high when you compare other hotels.

The staff was not welcoming, no information about services or guiding, the shower was broken and not clean. I stayed at Onomo in Kampala and that is why I choose the same chain but not same standards or services

Strategically located Nothing

Onomo Hotel is clean, comfortable, and offers great value for the price. The rooms are well-kept, the beds are cozy, and the overall atmosphere makes for a pleasant stay. A solid choice if you’re looking for comfort and good value. The 2nd time stayed there were no issues.

Onomo Hotel has some good qualities, but my stay came with a few challenges. The biggest issue was the noise in the morning—it was quite loud, making it hard to rest. Check-in also took nearly two hours, which was frustrating after a long trip. The elevator is slow as well, likely because the hotel has so many floors. Aside from these inconveniences, everything else was good. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and offers a solid overall experience once you’re settled in. With a few improvements in service speed and noise control, it could be a much smoother stay. the long wait to check in.

Location I had a one-week booking at your hotel and wanted to extend my stay for another four days. However, I was told that the hotel was fully booked for one of those days, and I had to check out and return the next day. Because of this experience, I will not stay at your hotel again, and I will make sure to inform others that you do not value or retain your guests.
