However, the service regarding basic room maintenance was disappointing. Upon arrival, I noticed the shampoo needed refilling. Despite following up for two consecutive days, the request was never addressed, and I eventually checked out without it ever being replenished. It is a beautiful property, but the lack of attention to simple housekeeping requests was a letdown.

Friendly staff and comfortable room with great views of the Indian Ocean. Nice gym for workouts and spacious swimming pool overlooking the ocean. The carpet in the hallways smell musty due to no air conditioning in the hot humid climate. Property could use some updates but overall a good value and nice place to stay.

It is supposedly a top notch hotel and this is exactly the impression you get when you enter the lobby. Unfortunately, after you see the place closely, it does not meet the standards of the “exclusive” impression (and price) it demands. Small visible defects in construction, Tze Tze flies that somehow kept appearing in the room although doors were closed, a breakfast area that has the potential of a million dollar space, but looks like an outdoor sitting area of a ferry to Greece. The breakfast itself that shows no class of a 350/night hotel and the general vibe when you walk outside, feels like someone with not too much taste did the planning and designing. Shame. The potential is great. If you charge like the “big boys”, someone with good taste needs to come and bring you up there. Potential is there

Food, service, staff friendliness from porters, door security, reception and Karambezi Restaurant staff owner Mama Kevarsh, her managers Leila and Delfin with their teams to mention a few Mohamed, John, Samwel, Brina, Aksa, Anna, Getrude breakfast chiefs. Our 6 days stay was made memorable and very comfortable, Asante Bacon could be crispier American style and more options of softer pillows.

Beautiful. Gorgeous ocean view. Excellent staff. Food was very good. Construction above and outside our room was ridiculous. Not what I wanted to hear upon arrival. They quit apx 5:00. Started again prior to 10:00 am. Staff was apologetic but made no effort to reduce the full rate I paid for an Executive Suite. The manager gave me her card and promised a free upgrade if we ever return. Which is basically never gonna happen. It actually wasn’t the worst thing, just not a great start.

I always stay at the sea cliff. I love it there! They put me in a room near the car park at the front even though I have been there and a returning customer every year.
