Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dayton/Riverside OH

Our stay at the microtel was disappointing. Our room was not cleaned well and we found a cockroach in our bed. The concierge was quick to make it right, and moved us to a new room. The property could use an upgrade, as both rooms we ended up in were looking rundown. The staff is the only thing we’d return for.

there was a beer bottle that stayed on the window ledge the entire 3 days we were there. breakfast is a joke. if you have small children, watch the windows. our window had a lock but you could fully open it with no screen. our friends room didn't even have a lock on it. other than the sweet girl that was there when we checked in the evening we got there, the staff could use some customer service training.

Small hotel room. Room smelled. It was fine but I wouldn't stay here again.

It was clean and affordable. The free breakfast added to the overall value. The breakfast was adequate but would've liked some hot options like bacon and eggs. Waffles were good.

My room was not particularly clean. It had a funny smell. I turned on the air conditioner and the bathroom fan, but it didn’t clear out by the second night. It was still there the third night I was staying there. I ask about changing rooms the first day. The water diffuser in the shower did not work correctly and I got scolded the first morning. I talked to the front desk and they tried to explain to me that I didn’t know how to work a shower. I assured them that I understood how it worked broken cabinet and trim missing off other pieces of furniture rounded out the room staff was generally friendly, and my waffle in the morning was tasty. I know it’s a budget motel, but I kicked the drawer that wouldn’t stay shot twice in the dark. I would close it and sometime during the night it would open back up a little bit. This was also reported to the staff and nothing was done about it, except shoving a piece of paper and it kind of wedging it. I travel a lot in this rinks in one of the least happy states that I’ve had over the past four years.

The host was the worst I experienced they tried to charge me extra money it's was awefull

It was a cheap one night stay. The area this hotel is located is the hood of dayton. The hotel itself smells like a hint of urine. The breakfast is subpar. The room is clean but the shower socks. All night long we heard yelling, pounding, and stomping. The person next door had their TV so loud that we had to sleep with ours on to even fall asleep.

We've stayed here 3 times over the past few months. Staff is very nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Very nice place and good price. We've not had an upstairs room room, but from what I understand there's no elevator. So be aware of that when you request your room.

Room was in great shape, no concerns. Pleasant experience with a bay window that served as an ironing board. Good cable TV. I skipped the continental breakfast. The lack of carpet in the hallways can create a loud experience. For example a loud mouthed family was talking it up at 11pm and slamming the doors. However I understand that linoleum is easier to mop.
