Baymont by Wyndham Delavan Near Lake Geneva

Very dirty outside and in parking lot, glass, garbage, never had parking because people going to bar would park in hotel parking lot. Very old rooms, carpet had rips and stains. Blood splatter on wall. Holes in walls. Both nights I was woken up to fighting in room above me. Doors slamming, slamming against walls, lady screaming and crying. Seemed like a normal occurrence for front hotel staff. Would not recommend if your going to stay with you family or small children.

Rude desk associate. Room was in terrible shape. Cracked tiles, refrigerator was not clean, toilet paper stuffed into the ceiling, front of bath vanity was ripped off. I could go on, but I won't.

The picture that they show is of a bar and grill that doesn’t even serve food. It only serve serves drinks. The rest of the place does not look anywhere near as good. This hotel is very rundown and is not well up kept. The first room they put me in had no refrigerator and they moved me to another room which the door did not lock and the shower door was practically falling off and the tiles were loose on the floor. There was also a very loud party on Saturday night downstairs in the basement and the entire building shook until 2 AM. In the morning there was blood in the elevator and on the elevator door. Honestly, the vibe this Hotel gave off was halfway house. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful and the town is very quaint. Maybe the price is right because it’s near a lake. But I would say it’s more around an $80 a night room. Not the 120 that I paid.

The first room Baymont gave us the door would not open or close without physically lifting the door up. The upper hinge was pulling out of the frame. The second room the bathroom shower had a lot of mold. The corner of the shower and where it met the floor was a huge glob of sealant and mold. The bathroom sink I could write my name in the bowl. When renting from a name brand hotel you expect a certain level of cleanliness. Baymont failed using this hotel part of its chain.

When we checked out There were garbage cans collecting water in the lobby, my shoes stuck to the bathroom floor, seemed construction needed to be finished in rooms, someone else’s hair throughout room, toilet seat not clean when I arrived, took 20 minutes for hot water to get to the room, desk chair broken and unstable. Delavan not a city so you can get to everything easily.

Definitely not a pleasant stay

I didn’t like any of it. Place is a joke and disgusting!
