Lake Lawn Resort

Overall not a bad place to stay at all for the price. I think if staff was more involved and less passive it would be much more pleasurable and we would have spent more time and money on site than we did.

Great experience!

We stayed in a family duplex room in Lakewood which was comfortable but its condition was a stark contrast to the main reception building and the other accommodation we visited throughout the hotel which were well kept. At Lakewood, the room was “tired” and the common parts were too. Very much in need of a refresh.

The property was very nice, and the flowers were very pretty. I liked the rocking chairs outside our room. It would have been helpful to have a fan in the bathroom.

The location of the hotel is beautiful. We were disappointed that our room seemed to be missing furniture. Neither side of our king bed had a nightstand, and there was a wide open space where a kitchen table should have been. The bathtub would not plug, and the boxspring mattress was uncomfortable.

Great experience

The room was full of spiders and they offered another room that had more spiders than the first one. I checked out due to the rooms being uncleaned with dust and cobwebs everywhere. $900.00 rooms should never look like this! It looked like I was going to sleep in a dirty Basement!

The staff was great! Specifically the young woman who checked us in (4 pm on 8/13) forgot her name but she was amazing! Also a man named Francisco? I think? Beautiful room looking at the lake. The kids loved the playroom activities. Now for the less great stuff…. Save your money on food outside. The food here is horrible and expensive. We got super old stale fries, nachos with maybe 3-4 pieces of meat, and cold wings. After that we only ordered food from outside the resort. Also the fire alarm randomly went off after I blow dryer my hair.. the smoke detectors are super sensitive (I’d assume because there’s SO many people smoking here… also a huge turn off while staying with an infant. Even the staff took smoke breaks by the buildings. I’d stay here again but I’d definitely plan on something else for food.

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Lawn and we will be back. The lodge was clean, and had a great layout for our family. The property was beautiful and beautifully maintained. The restaurant onsite had great service, but the food was not so good especially for the price.

Boring

Family friendly. Great , professional staff. Beautiful views, lake( good for fishing with kids). Renovated, clean , specious rooms! Will come back!

Everything was OK until I sat on the balcony for less than a minute and all my body was filled with these small white mites, crawling all over my body

It had beautiful scenery. That was probably my favorite part of the property. As well as the restaurant the staff and food were lovely.

Was unhappy that I was charged ANOTHER resort fee upon check-in, even though one was included on website at booking and was informed that no others fees were required!

Large property. Very nice room at reasonable prices. Every amenity you could want.

We love LakeLawn, staff was kind. Room cleanliness was lacking this trip. We had a large stain on the carpet and asked multiple times for it to be cleaned before it was handled. We still love the resort, but would like for it to be a bit cleaner!

Good place for family vacations!

We unfortunately had a terrible first impression. They were clearly over capacity from the weekend and under staffed. We checked in 6/28 - had to wait over 30 minutes for our room which was not properly cleaned. After complaining we were moved to another room which was not what we reserved but “no other availability”. After asking if that was ready and being told it was double inspected. We found an old ranch cup in plain sight. Our third and final room was up to standards and I honestly would have left after the second room had I not had 2 children with me and it had not been 9 pm. The staff was helpful. We felt horrible for the front desk attendants dealing with rude people who also had issues. The pools were also not very well maintained.
