Overall good Location and little bit expensive compare to the price

Perfect location especially from the airport, nice staff. I don’t like Delhi city at all, but in this hostel I feel safe, calm, clean, good sleep. Appreciate that!

Nothing to complaint

The location is easy to get by taxi and tuktuk We ordered the deluxe twin room. It was much smaller than expected. It wasn't clean. Especially the bathroom... There was no hot water in the evening

Everything, clean space and the staff was so friendly. I will definitely recommend this place.

The best thing about Zostel Delhi is that it's located near the train station. Walking distance if you're me. But if I didn't have an early train, I would probably choose another location to stay. The room was fine. Good AC which is key. I was in the womens dorm and the other travelers were all fun to chat with. Bathroom was the all in one combo style. I didn’t eat at restaurant. The downstairs space seemed nice. Upstairs area didn’t have a great set up, so it felt like hang out options were limited. Staff was nice and let me check in very early. Dorm "window" faced the hallway. Room felt "tired" and could have used a deep clean. Upstairs common area rather blah.

Location, Clock Room Facility, Cafe

Nice and clean enough. Night receptionist was more than rude. Should probably not work in this area of the hospitality sector. We inconvenienced him because we were early and his sleeping on the lobby couch was weird. All we needed was to be kindly told we could store our bags and come back at 12 or we could wait downstairs. The person who saved the experience was whoever was texting on WhatsApp!

Friendly staff, good price, walking tour

1. Location is great as it’s on the main road as compared to other properties in this area which are usually inside the narrow lanes. Also, it’s very close to railways station, easily walkable. 2. Room and the bathroom were clean from housekeeping perspective however the room definitely needs some deep cleaning to remove the paint marks all over the floor. I booked individual room (and not dorm) and paid quite a premium (just to stay for a few hours after landing and before catching the train) but room didn’t give the feeling of freshness due to the marks all over the floor. 1. Mattress is not at all comfortable. The spring of the mattress poking the body was very uncomfortable. 2. The room phone wasn’t working and due to the lift not working too, I had to carry my luggage down by myself at the time of checkout. Although I am sure if I would have walked down to ask for help, they would have helped. 3. Nothing major, but would be nice to provide slippers for in-room/bathroom use. They didn’t have it even on request.

The staff was very friendly and responsive. The wifi was very very bad. It was impossible to have video meetings from the room. The wifi in the work area in the basement was good but you want privacy when having meetings. The bathroom was not very clean. In the nooks and crannys you can notice that it has not been properly cleaned in years.

Good accommodation, very spacious. Dining area service is kinda slow. The area around the accommodation is very busy, unclean and has a lot of weird men and auto drivers who're only out to scam people - charging ridiculous prices for very short distances too. However, glad there's Uber. Although the road is quite jammed and narrow during the day and feels extremely unsafe at nights.

The staff were so lovely and welcoming, had great recommendations for food and helped with arranging transport to the metro at night. The room was quiet from the road noise. The rooftop bar was really nice, would be better if the fans worked. Our private room shared a corridor with a dorm and the doors slammed when someone was waking in and out, which was often the first night. There were no windows, but that was okay as it kept out the noise and mosquitoes

Zostel Delhi offers a vibrant atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff, making it ideal for solo travelers. While the surrounding Paharganj area can be bustling, the hostel provides a comfortable and secure stay The surrounding Paharganj area can feel a bit chaotic and noisy, especially at night. Some rooms may feel compact

Very poor

Not much to be honest. I couldn’t wait to leave. The location is horrible. Lots of taxi drivers didn’t want to drop me off there as it is near a train station so always busy no matter what time of day. They never cleaned the room or asked if it needed a clean or refresh of water/tea or coffee. Either the walls were too thin you could hear everything from outside or people were just obnoxiously loud without a care in the world. More than once I got rudely awakened late at night by someone walking out of their room to speak on the phone (on loud speaker) or just shouting in the corridors or opening their doors while banging everything they could before hitting the key in the keyhole next to my room. Also they somehow see fit to provide live music in the hostel now and then till past 10pm so it’s basically impossible to hear your own thoughts let alone sleep. If you’re a female solo traveller like myself this is definitely not the place. The area surrounding the hostel was actually quite dangerous to walk around alone and I got warned more than once by strangers to watch out and not stay in this area if I ever come back again to Delhi.
