We had a booking as per schedule but hotel did not allow us to stay as per booking and said that no booking was made for us and instead of RS 1150 they charged us rs 1500 unnecessary without any proper bill

Very bad experience with booking.com.Booking.com accept booking without confirmation from properties owner.I suffered many time after booking with booking.com.
