Good ambience. Pool. They gave us clothes drying rack. They refilled our water bottle when requested. Wasn’t very comfortable for a long stay (we did two weeks) There was no stool for kids to use in the toilet. The hand shower expelled water from just its corners. The restaurant menu did not accommodate a vegan diet. There was no hand soap. Several times, there was a wedding photo shoot happening right outside our door and on the over looking lawn. It wasn’t very comfortable for us. Also, we could hear all the sounds from the above room which disturbed our sleep.

Good ambience, photogenic There was a noise coming from the bed like something was breaking even in a little movement and there’s no bidet spray in toilet that may don’t work for some people.

The beds were very uncomfortable, the pillow was the worst, and the socket next to the bed was broken so I had to charge my phone far from the bed, which wasn’t convenient. You also need to drive to get to the beach or any lively area.

Surprisingly clean and beautiful old colonial style building .. unexpected for this part of bali. Helpful staff and very comfortable bed and linens. Loves it ! Location was tricky to find

1 day the bathroom wasn’t clean proper, plus there is a restaurant in the hotel and it’s always crowded and loudy

N/A I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn other travelers about my recent experience at Pitaloka Hotel Sanur. The Facts: Extensive black mold in the room I was assigned (painted over not addressed) Severe odor that triggered allergies Promised a refund by management but later denied Management completely unresponsive to follow-ups After raising my concerns about the mold and its impact on my health, I was offered a refund if I chose to leave. However, when I followed up to process the refund through Booking.com, the request was denied, and the property management has since refused to respond. What’s most alarming is the combination of uninhabitable conditions and the dismissive attitude of the management. This lack of accountability and concern for guest safety reflects systemic negligence in maintaining basic health standards. For your own health and peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding this property. The risks simply aren’t worth it. Pros: ? Absolutely none Cons: Active mold growth and severe odor Unresponsive and dishonest management Health hazards and compromised safety Lack of basic property maintenance Stay anywhere else, but not here.

Architecture was beautiful. Checkin and checkout was a breeze Pool was not clean and kids could not use it. Bedsheets appear not to be changed.

Great location and great value for money.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet. The aircon had a new filter and there was no smell of any mould. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was incredible!! We had breakfast and lunch there, having stayed one night. Left for the airport in the afternoon and the staff looked after our luggage while we went to Sanur Beach for a massage. Great value and worth staying there. Gojek taxi was 20k in 7mins. This is a new build. There were locals booking the venue to take wedding photos. I loved this!!! The couples dressed up in traditional attire and both the Bride & Groom looked incredible. It was further away from the Beach/ coast than I thought, but that was human error on my end when searching for accom in Booking.com lol ;o) Lose to a supermarket, massage and cafe down the road... Easy enough to book a taxi though!

There are no shades in the room and the light on the hallway is always turned on, so there is no dark in the room. Also the breakfast starts at 9, which is a bit late if you want to do tours or something else in the morning.
