The facilities were pretty well taken care of for this level of hotel. The fixtures worked and the paint was pretty decent. The staff member that greeted me was nice, Not sure where everyone else stayed that rated this place, but I can tell you the ratings are way overstated in my opinion. I cancelled an Air B&B because of these high ratings...mistake. The items that were issues are noted in several other reviews but not all in one place, so here goes: first floor road noise was terrible (sliding glass door helped, but if you opened it up, it was like living by a freeway), squeaking joists from the room above allowed you to track their every step...and they stepped a lot, no A/C...but open the door and turn on the fan it cooled off quickly, low shower head (who cares, I agree), the facilities were mostly clean (sticky bathroom floor, some dirty doors, dirty ice machine, etc... ), beds were not real queens (more like a full sized), and first floor view is mostly of the street. I have nothing against these folks, just want to be honest about what I thought I was getting for $200 a night (after tax).

View was the best, Room was updated and very nice and comfortable. Larger than normal flatscreen. Very nice shower. Actually had a nice propane fireplace. Goord restaurants and touristy shops a walk away. Nice little balcony to sit and watch for whale spouts across the bay. No elevator for upstairs view rooms but the view was also nice for the second floor rooms at ground level. No breakfast offered. Unavoidable noisy traffic right below room balconies.

The view, and the friendly staff The room was dirty, there were not enough towels, despite requests I still had to go to the office to collect my own towels.

The room floor was warped and lifted in places, creating a tripping hazard. The strip around the edge of the bathroom counter had pulled away leaving a gap that can catch clothes or fingers. The complimentary dispensers in the bathroom were all empty on arrival. A piece of the door jam was broken off on the inside of the room. No AC in the room, and the temperature inside the room was constantly stuffy and warm, though there was a fan provided and the room also had a ceiling fan. However, the fan had not been cleaned in some time and was caked with dust/hair along the front side; same with the hotel provided hair dryer (did not use!). Only 1 chair inside this double room, no bedside table, but 2 plastic chairs on the balcony. I would stay again in a pinch, but this would not be my first choice.

Everything!!! The staff was wonderful, well maintained clean and great location.

Excellent value Four the cost, only downside was a little traffic noise from the highway. OK once you close the balcony windows.

The hand lotion was not working. The cleaning staff did not have lotion to exchange it.

I was told I would have first floor room but first floor was basement not ground floor. Very inconvenient with lots of luggage to haul long distance to room. Very expensive and not worth it

A great place to stay while i'm in Depoe bay . Can't beat the location, easy walk to downtown., fantastic view , with fireplace
