Umasari Rice Terrace Villa

Everything. I couldn't believe how wonderful the location is, set into the trees at the edge of an expansive rice field - private, quiet, beautiful, natural. Friendly staff. I want to move in! The pillows could be a bit better but nothing to complain about. Absolutely satisfactory.

Wifi and Aircon good. Kettle supplied. Restaurant onsite, about 5 minutes walk. Excellent food there. Hot water in shower. Everything good Outside shower drain was blocked. Informed management.

Too many ants and insect at the outdoor bathroom

Staff always friendly. Room nice. Bed comfortable. Air con and wifi good. Outside bathroom was good size. Parking on road outside my room. About a 6 minute walk to restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Everything good

The room service The pool could have been cleaner.

A very quiet hidden gem on the edge of a rice terraced countryside. The rooms are very traditional and well equipped. Mosquito control is excellent. Manager Putu is very professional and kind, he had solved our problem with the rooms quickly, he also volunteered to show us a traditional ceremony in his house and the rice fields around the hotel, we felt very welcome here.

Could add more to the food menu and a board pointing towards reception.

Good location and friendly staff. Unfortunately the pool is not maintained well, it is very muddy. Pool is dirty, TV is not working (only view local channels available). Breakfast was plain.

We love the Villa and the ambience. We love The hot water in the shower (the pressure and constant heating are great). Food was delicious. Very quite and relaxing

It’s fairly isolated. You need a car or motorbike to go any where. That’s not a problem if you’re looking for a relaxing country side stay.

Magical place. Loved everything about it

The room was pretty quiet and comfortable (I stayed in the bungalow in a separate compound), really spacious and away from most of the other accommodation (there are four rooms in the separate place). I loved the fact there is a yoga studio overlooking the rice fields, although I ended up not using it. The property is boundaried with rice fields that have paths for walking or running. The restaurant is reasonably priced and the breakfast was really good with unlimited coffee and tea. The staff were friendly and kept the room clean and refreshed. The location for me was good as it was away from the noise of the local area, but within easy access with a scooter of a swimming pool and gym. The air con was a little noisy and the light on it cannot be turned off. The shelves in the wardrobe were dusty. That's it - I can't think of anything else. It's a really nice place to stay if you want peace.

The property was in a peaceful area and surrounded by rice fields. You can have nice walk around the place and meet the locals to share with them. The staff have been very attentive and helpful. Nothing to complain about

The staff were fantastic and very helpful. Their service really made our stay - they booked us a driver, were always ready to give advice and answer questions, housekeeping service every day, organised us a laundry service. Restaurant staff made us feel at home, cooked for me even when they were closed! AND made me a Balinese dessert that I requested - not on the menu. Cheaper meals are still a good size. Food is hot, safe and tasty. Indonesian and western options. Rice terrace views, big bed, good air con, fridge, kettle with tea/coffee, towels, free drinking water, garden bathroom, complimentary soap, toothbrush, small sachet of insect repellent (jolgo villa) Cooking class, local trekking, Balinese massage ($20 AUD for 1hr), yoga studio, multiple swimming pools available. This place is basically in the rice terraces. There might be a lizard or mosquito visitor ?. You have to drive a bit to get to attractions/Ubud centre. Temple Taman Ayu nearby. Little bit dark in the room with lights on but who wants to sit inside on holiday?! ??️?️ The mosquito net on the bed was not attached to the wall leaving a small gap for bugs to get in. However there really were very few mosquitoes. The complimentary insect repellent felt good on our skin - not sticky like Australian mosquito repellent.

The staf wire friendly, and we had a very nice guide. Bagus It was a little run Down. It need to get upgraded in the room we had.

We didn't like the restaurant being so far away from the accommodation, had to walk quite a bit with the path having slopes and stairs.
