The Bed was comfortable and the room was clean, slightly outdated and little bit run down. The property itself felt safe, but could have used some cosmetic improvements. Overall not the worst hotel I’ve stayed at and would stay again if needed.

Exceptional

This served our purpose of a place to stay for a few nights when visiting Dearborn. In retrospect, I would have picked someplace that charged more… because this budget experience was not what we had hoped. One reason I picked it was breakfast was included. Disappointingly it was a grab an go breakfast consisting only of coffee, hot water, tea/hot chocolate, granola bars, two types of previously frozen packaged muffins, and oatmeal packs. I hate to just list reasons we didn’t care for it, but it may help someone else. We felt the clientele was a transient population. People hung around in groups outside smoking. It didn’t feel like travelers on vacation like us staying for two nights. The smell of skunk was very apparent when I got off the elevator. (Assuming it was weed) The room floor was really sticky- yet, obviously mopped. The hard surfaces of the countertops were damaged. The full kitchen was pointless without any dishes, glassware, etc. the remote has no battery compartment cover. There were many signs warning people of damage and misuse, leaving us to assume that they frequently have problems.
