I stayed at this hotel some ten years ago and thought it one of the most pleasant places I had ever been. It shows its age a bit now—the bathroom could be refreshed, and there is no air conditioning—but it is still exceptional. Unlike so many places on the Baltic coast, Dierhagen is not spoiled by droves of tourists. If I had more money, I would happily spend a week or two here.

The location is great. 5 min to the sea The staff at the reception could have been friendlier. If you need sauna towels or bath robes you can get them there. Unfortunately no one told us at arrival. The lockers in front of the pool have an awful smell of toilets

The people working at the reception and some in the restaurant could be much more friendly. Haven't had a less welcome feeling in the last 40 years. But honestly 50% of the guests had been the same. Must be what to expect in this part of Germany. Very pretty region though.

Hi Generally we can say that everything was good. Just some comments from our side. As the hotel is located near the sea we've thought that it could be logical that there should be a place where you can dry your swimsuits in the room as you need at least to rinse your swimwear from salt water. But there were no any possibility in the bathroom to dry them. If you like and you are used to sleep on hard orthopedic pillows better take them with you. Hotel's pillows were for as extremely soft. Spa services are super, especially seaweed wraps. Breakfast and Dinner Buffets are super! And please don't based on our answer about the coffee! We don't drink coffee at all ( yeah such people are existing :-)P But the tea was good!

love the Bauhaus design. There is an indoor Basketball court in the hotel ? the sauna was great, the beds are comfortable. The rooms are spacious. The hotel‘s location close to the beach is very nice. The all you can eat dinner was good. the breakfast was very poor. The bread quality was bad, very few warm options, no salad. No peanut butter. No bananas. It would be nice to have some fresh local products at breakfast.
