Super cute in a cute town. Not easy to get to, but cute little town on the North side of Lake Como. Hit the winery in town is a must.

A beautiful building, very close to the lake. A fabulous swimming pool, secure courtyard for our bikes. A stunning, light and airy bedroom / suite. Wonderful hosts and an incredible breakfast. Nothing

Great hosts, clean accommodation and spacious. Close to the lake and shops. Breakfast was plenty of choice. In our room we had 2 pillows each but they were all super thin, out of all 4 pillows, 2 could be much plumper to give more choice and prevent waking with neck pain.

Everything was perfect: spacious room with air conditioning and huge bathroom, fantastic breakfast and very helpful host - Isabelle (thanks for arranging for our late check-in!) The villa has a unique character and has many places to sit and enjoy a glass of wine outside. And if that's not enough then there is a pool that we stayed in for almost half a day during the recent heatwave. There was always a public, free car park in the immediate vicinity available (either beside the church or Asilo Infantile Panizza). 5 mins walk to the promenade of Lake Como. It was so good we decided to skip a day trip to Swiss Alps and spent it in the pool :-)

the pool The fact that I'm in a meeting and I have to deal with having to find someplace else because they 'accidentally' overbooked us. Plus I had to add 40min to walk all the way to the place when the one I originally picked out was a 5min walk...

The property was unique and very interesting . Lots of old artefacts in the room and we had access to other rooms (that were communal.. but nobody else was using) . Particularly nice was a little balcony, covered in honeysuckle where we were able to drink our morning coffee ! Very minor things… would have been nice to have a table for suitcase (as I have bad back and bending a problem). We did need to provide our own tea but shop to buy was easily accessible
