Centrally located in Donegal. Our room had a view of The Diamond and all the hustle and bustle. A good number of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Off-street parking available. Check-in was difficult. Apparently instructions are messaged through the Booking.com site but I was not looking for them there, so I did not see the message. Did not receive the email check-in instructions until a week after our visit. One of the bartenders in the pub contacted the owners and helped us get the keys from the lock box. Parking is in back (you drive through a really tight entryway that is hard to find). One of the employee's cars was blocking the parking lot entrance so we waited over 15 minutes for him to move his care before we could park. Be aware you need 2 euros to get out of the lot. We just happened to have it but we could have been stuck there for a while if we didn't. Room and bathroom was adequate for a one night stay. The hallway had a very funky/bad smell to it that was there the entire time we were there.

Very centrally located and clean. You could telephone "the property" and a very pleasant and helpful woman, Rita, answered. Also, it was inexpensive. This is not a hotel. It is a B&B, except no breakfast. This misbranding made for some surprises. No elevator. I had to lug my bags up two flights of stairs. Bathroom down the hall, and shared with all the other rooms on the floor. No air conditioning. View of concrete wall, which was good because there were no curtains. Although Booking.com said the reservation could be cancelled, I could only cancel the second night. I stayed for one of the two nights, and moved to a nearby hotel, with in-room bathroom and elevators.

Took a little longer to find the place. Would be nice if the check-in instructions includes a few pictures.

Location was amazing! Check in was easy Beds were a bit hard, but good.

Good location More info on checking in- info on parking (location, that coin is needed to exit ( I have only used a credit card in my travels- no coins), notice that key would be in a lock box and better instructions on where to then locate exterior door to enter rooms area. I was not able to make bathroom heater work and while I received prompt responses to earlier questions I didn't want to ask owner re heat when I returned late to cold room

Location was good for our planned activities. Room was a little on cool side. Fire alarm was set off by another guest which scared us.

Location was exceptional. Parking was available! Bed was fine and room was clean. Getting a room key was challenging. No elevator and our room on the third floor. Banging pipes were a tremendous nuisance for half an hour in the evening and early morning. As advertised, no breakfast.

The location was excellent. Right on the diamond. Shared bathroom Up two flights of stairs No A/C so window needed to be open at night. Lot's of street noise and noise from the beer garden at the pub. Room was very small.

Great location, could walk to everything in town. Parking on site. Rooms were okay. A lot of noise outside (idling buses and trucks) and noisy pipes in upstairs room. Tiny bathroom sink was unusable because of shelf above it.

location was great tv didn't work

the staff in the bar were extremely helpful. the band that played was excellent. The large double non-smoking room stunk so badly of cigarette smoke it was intolerable. My partner and I were unable to air out the room as the windows were tiny. The proprietor switched us to a single room that was so tiny only room for a single bed, chair, small table. no towels were provided, no tea/coffee and only a single bed. He refused to credit us with the 40 EU difference even though he rented out the stinky double room.

Perfect location on The Diamond, walk to food, drink, castle, laundry, bus, river bank hiking path, etc. Great value.

No hot water in shower one morning.

Location Noise. Which was to be expected

We liked the place and the location, parking is available behind the accommodation for just €2, bed was really comfortable and the room was very clean, including the toilet, even tough it was shared, as a negative I would say that walls are very thin so if you have noisy neighbours like we did, you will hear everything and probably find hard to rest specially if they were teenagers laughing and shouting, also, we couldn’t properly sleep as the fire alarm got activated in the middle of the night and it took over an hour to get it off
