Our privately run hotel in the eastern outskirts of Dortmund enjoys a green and tranquil environment in a convenient location close to the motorway B1, the newly IT and Insurance hotspot Stadtkrone Ost, the football stadium Signal Iduna Park, the exhibition center Westfalenhallen Dortmund as well as the Dortmund airport. The Hotel Ambiente offers large and spacious rooms in a standard and comfort category, with Satelite tv, a desk, own bathroom with shower and free Wi-Fi internet access throughout the whole hotel. Every morning we serve in our modern styled restaurant a breakfast buffet. Relax with friends and business partners at our bar, in the lobby or on our outside terrace during the summer months. Guests with cars will appreciate the free on-site parking at the Hotel Ambiente as well as the good connections to the motorways B1, A40, A1, A44 and A45 . The Stadtkrone Ost is only 0.9 mi (2 min drive) away from our hotel, the football stadium Signal Iduna Park 4.7 mi, the exhibition center Westfalenhallen Dortmund 4.5 mi, the City Center of Dortmund 4.2 mi, the central station 4.3 mi (direct underground connection), Lake Phenix 3.1 mi and the airport Dortmund 5 mi . Other main cities in the Ruhr Area like Bochum, Essen and Unna are easily reachable from here.

The location is very quiet. When I did finally drift off to sleep, I slept quite well. I had requested two rooms close together, however my granddaughter and I ended up on two separate floors although the hotel did not appear to be busy (I saw no other guests nor guests‘ cars)

Friendlieness and "I can" attitude of staff. Attentiveness and smile - definatelly made great first impression. Spacious room and clean sheets, spacious and clean bathroom. Quiet location - plenty of parking space. And coffee maker in the room - really made my day next morning! At breakfast - not much choice and fried egg and bacon temperature could have been better... Maybe at quiet times better to cook it to order for guests?

It is a converted officers mess from when the British were in West Germany. It is decorated very nicely and has a relaxed feel. Perhaps some history of the property would be nice.

It was close to the airport and the staff was very nice. A cold wind was blowing through the windows and the baby's crib hadn't been set up in advance.

very close to our friends we were having dinner with and catching up. on checking out, i was asked if i would like a coffee to go, to which i replied yes please and a white tea for my wife! we also had two chocolate Santas outside the door! A very nice touch indeed! excellent stay, in a former BAOR Teachers Officers Mess. noisy early morning guests leaving! Not the Hotels fault. Very quiet location.
