Sleep Inn Douglasville near Arbor Place

I had to clean my room horrible never offered another room. AN told them leaving a day early an never got a credit and had plenty of notice 3 day notice. Never stay there again gross no training an very dirty.

The general manager checked us in early and was very kind and affable. He remembered the next day that we'd been there for a game and asked if our team won. There was nothing I didn't like.

When I came into the building I was given my room and when I went in there the beds were made but there was Waffle House leftovers and patron box on the desk. So I then ask the cleaning ppl and they just tell me to go downstairs. Then I got a second room and in there the phone didn’t work to call downstairs or anything. I wouldn’t recommend this place as a solid traveler it didn’t feel the safest but I will say that the women who work at the front desk are kind. Brenda tried to help despite the management not being helpful. Also the WiFi didn’t work and I struggled being able to complete my work. I don’t recommend honestly

The room reeked of heavy cigarette smoke and it was bad. I sprayed my Bath & Body Works concentrated room spray and it made it worse. Unfortunately they were sold out and there were no more rooms left. I was only staying one night, so I stayed. I told the staff and they apologized and gave me some Lysol and this heavy duty room spray that helped, but it was almost empty, so I ran out after a few sprays, so I just kept spraying the Lysol every 15 mins because the smell was that bad. The staff stated that it was under new management, and that the previous owners left it a mess. I stayed on 7/25/26. I only gave it 2 stars because the staff was not rude, but honestly, I hated my stay there because the room made me feel gross. I forgot to add besides the smell that there were light cigarette burns on the toilet and on the plastic box that holds the Kleenex tissue. I believe people maybe living there (which I understand because of the economy), but it’s like they don’t care and are just trashing the rooms they stay in. Also, the signs in the room should be taken down because one states that the room is cleaned with hospital disinfectant and the other said to “Breathe In” a smoke-free room. This is not a NOT a non-smoking room, and the room was not cleaned with hospital disinfectant. I believe the cleaners only made the bed because even the shower had hairs all around it, but of course I didn’t see them until I was in the shower. I didn’t take a pic of everything that was bad.

That it was a room with a bed and working tv. The room smelled like straight tobacco smoke. The breakfast was terrible. The key wasn’t working. The hallway was loud and too many people in the hallway looking suspicious.

The BREAKFEAST and the coffees was a perfect touch! The man at the front desk was so helpful! The maintenance man was helpful too. Everything. The closet door was broken. The phones barely worked. None of the outlets worked. The housekeepers were rude and nasty and barely gave me soap to use.
