A lovely little hideaway at the edge of lake Annecy. Very clean rooms run by a very friendly host . Would highly recommend.

Lovely room with huge bed, and views of fields/mountains (and even a kettle in the room). The breakfast was delicious, with homemade cakes and jams. Lucie is a lovely host - happy to talk about the area and offer recommendations, or to leave you in peace as you prefer. There's parking in front of the house, and it's a nice little village, very rural, and much more atmospheric than some of the touristy towns on the lakefront. My mother and I stayed for one night on a rainy day in March and had a wonderful time. This is a great find! No downsides - everything was great! There are not so many eating options in the nearby area out of season, but we did find one nice restaurant (Le Bistrot du Coin) in Doussard (reservations recommended).

The host was very welcoming. Private parking and views of the massif. A lovely breakfast was laid out, complete with a fresh homemade cake each day. Very comfortable bed. Our room was stuffy and whilst there was a fan, it only moved the hot air around. An a/c unit was really needed. A small fridge would have been useful to keep the much needed drinks cold.

The owner is extremely kind and always available. The room and bathroom are REALLY big, modern, and comfortable. We had a great time and I would totally go back and recommend. I would say have a bike or a car for restaurants options in the evening. Or a walk of 1-2km will give you a few local options
