The apartment was spacious, had laundry available, had a wonderful kitchen and was relatively close to downtown.

Beautiful, flower-filled oasis outside of the main tourist area. Within walking distance of a grocery store, market and restaurants. We walked to the old town (35 minutes, hilly but with nice views) or there were also buses. Appreciated the recommendations from our very helpful host and the other guests. Our room was efficient and comfortable but the gardens and common spaces were the best part. Breakfasts were very good and the homemade lemon marmalade was delicious.

Beautiful house and yard. Did not get to use the pool, but that was beautiful too! And great support from staff, throughout (including owner!) Room was very small and pictures were deceiving. It almost appeared as a one-bedroom apartment - having a private living room as well, and that was not the case.

Our stay at Bokun Guesthouse was exceptional. Toni was a great host and provided suggestions about things to do. The breakfast was very good. The grounds were amazing with all of the flowers.

Our hosts were warm and welcoming and tended with detail to all our needs! They shared helpful city information and recommended great restaurants in Dubrovnik! The historic property has been beautifully updated to accommodate guests! Rooms are cozy, clean, and bed was very comfortable! The gardens on the grounds are lovely and added a feeling of home to our stay. The location, though on a main street, is a quiet spot tucked away from the noise of the city. Just look for the Bokun Guesthouse sign posted along the street to approach the property. The location is moderate walking distance to Old Town (1.5miles) and within easy bus access as well.

Lovely property spotless throughout with beautiful grounds full of various types of fruit trees and flowers. Pool area and sun beds were a welcome treat after walking round city. Toni gave us invaluable advice about tourist attractions, transport and places to eat. Nothing

Beautiful property. Lovely location. The grounds were beautiful with fruit trees and a pool area and a lot of outdoor space to relax We loved it all

Room was small but adequate, comfortable and clean. The pool was well kept, clean. The location was exceptional, right across from the marina, where you could take the ferry to other islands and where you would take boat trips to other islands. Very convenient. The host were very helpful. There wasn't anything I didn't like about our stay, we have shared this accommodation with several friends.

Lovely, warm family run guesthouse ideally located near a beautiful harbour and within easy reach of the old town. Excellent facilities, bags of character and genuine friendship from hosts. We would thoroughly recommend this property for people of all ages, families and couples. We loved our 2 week stay Nothing!

Bokun guest house was very clean thanks to Magdalena. Tony the owner gave us lots of useful information. The garden is beautiful with lots of fruit trees and beautiful flowers. The swimming pool was a bonus to chill around as our flight home was not until late at night. Sad to say the breakfast was poor there was a very small amount of hot food and within 30 mins of breakfast starting it was gone. When we asked for more we were told there wasn’t any more bacon etc. It would be better to not to have any hot food but offer a higher quality of continental breakfast. We had a king size bed but with double top sheets and blankets

Bokun is a beautiful place to stay at , all staff were wonderful & helpful & our room was spotlessly clean . It’s easy reach to Dubrovnik old town by taxi or foot . The pool was an extra bonus & had a relaxing last day there before our taxi picked us up . We could have done with extra hooks for towels to hang up & more storage for clothes , also a mirror in our room would have made it better . Breakfast was a buffet, 8am- 10am but most mornings the bacon ran out by 8.30 & was told no more would be cooked . I think breakfast let the place down a bit .

Lovely location by the port, so 30 mins walk to old town or beaches, or 10 mins on one of the many buses. It’s an area of tranquility once you open the door from the street, large garden surrounds the property filled with colourful flowers and fruit trees. Substantial buffet breakfast inc hot options. Tony and his team are very friendly and helpful. We booked independently and stayed for three nights, but it is also an accredited jet2 accommodation choice, whose guests typically stay for 7 days+ and are generally more mature. One of the advantages of the latter is that Tony also organises some trips for guests. Couldn’t fault our stay and happy to recommend.

A lovely place to stay. Easy to walk for the beach (about 30 minutes) Shop near by Easy bus access to the old town Places to eat near by Lovely by the harbour Room cosy Very friendly family feel Ice machine and lots of seating space Lovely breakfast Air conditioning was lovely Bed wasn't made up each day / towels changed. Fridge wasn't brilliant in the room. There was no clear message that we had to pay by cash. There was a bank nearby, however we had to spend £15 for charges in total which although it isn't much, it is still an extra and the pain of going to the bank for a few days to withdraw. If we had have been told we would have brought the cash with us. Sadly by an error the last day was slightly spoilt by an accident with the pool which meant we had no pool. Would have maybe been nice for the owner to offer something.
