This is a very interesting and beautifully appointed historic hotel located in the Old Town of Dubrovnik. There was no window in my room. Guests need to be aware that therre is a 10 minutes walk from the city gate.

The location was it's only saving grace. Customer service was dismal, practically non-existent. Air conditioning did not function in 98 degree weather. Bathrooms had mold. Front desk did not answer the phone. Porter unavailable. Provided incorrect bed arrangement. Severely overpriced with the management issues that it has. It was too late to cancel and go elsewhere, so we had to grin and bear it.

Very conveniently located Noisy portable Aircon that barely cooled the room on the hot sunny days, making it difficult to sleep. Curtains did not block out sunlight well, making sleep even more difficult. It had no facilities like gym or pool, so why does it qualify for a five star rating?

Location was great

The location is fantastic and is the best aspect of this hotel. The bathroom would flood anytime you took a shower. The drain did not drain and the water goes all over the bathroom floor. We told the hotel and they claimed they fixed it but it still continued to flood with every shower. It was a huge mess and the hotel’s response was frustrating. We also made a reservation for the Magdalena restaurant through the front desk. This was for dinner on our last night and meant to be a celebration of our family trip. The hotel neglected to tell us that the restaurant was closed because of short staff. They made us a reservation at a different restaurant at the last minute but the food was terrible and made the end of the trip a bummer.

If you visit Dubrovnik, we thought it would be fantastic to stay in the old town, and it was. The Pucic Palace is just what you would expect. You get the old historic European location with a beautiful guest room. Its classic! the staff is friendly and speaks English. It was a trip of a lifetime! nothing

It was a bit awkward with the aircondition unit in the room but it was understandable under the circumstances.

This hotel was more luxurious than I'd anticipated. Not only was it lovely, the room was the perfect temperature when I arrived, the staff had left cold water, and had also given my dog a bed. My own bed was very comfortable, and I felt immediately at home. Also, every staff person I interacted with was very nice and helpful.

Stunning hotel in the best location in the Old Town. Amazing bathroom, with incredible soaking tub. You feel like you've stepped back in time, with everything in the hotel beautifully restored and preserved. Staff was amazing and breakfast exceptional. Everyone could want for a fairytale like stay in this beautiful city. Nothing.

When booking..remind yourself that you are in an old city with church bells that ring!

Loved the staff!! Every single person was more than helpful, accommodating, professional, courteous, and friendly! Loved its location!! Loved the shower and tub “room” within the bathroom. Bed linens were lovely! The bellmen service from the main gate was incredibly helpful, essential and worth every room rate dollar!! I couldn’t open my window due to the portable AC unit’s tubing being affixed to it. Needed an additional blanket on the bed, underneath the coverlet. Wished there was a sitting room or a library off of the lobby, in which hotel guests could relax, read, or have tea between shopping and touring or after a long flight.

The staff was exceptional- nice, funny, helpful- a pleasure to interact with. It was extremely easy to e-mail and clarify details, arrange a car service, and our porter was exceptionally lovely. I expected higher finishings for the price.
