HI Hostel Dubrovnik

Close to the beach, good value for Dubrovnik, nice and friendly staff. Not far from the supermarket. Location is a bit uphill, so it does take some effort getting there, but not that bad.

Only needed a bed and place to stay for a few hours before our flight. This hostel was easy to find and within walking distance of the bus stops. The beds were comfy and staff very accommodating.

(telling, as ex-receptionist) It’s only 10-15 min walking from the beach I’d recommend this hostel even for long stay Kitchen facilities could be just a bit better: like some knifes, more cups…

Clean with an amazing outside patio on the second floor. Showers were comfortable with good water pressure. Sadly one of the two beds I had reserved in an eight bed dorm was not made when my friend and I had arrived, but the staff were very friendly and gave us a free upgrade to a four bed dorm. The location is about a twenty-thirty minute walk from Dubrovnik old town. A very beautiful walk but one I didn’t enjoy much after landing in Dubrovnik airport at the middle of the night.

Everything here is convenient for me

As I had arrived during the off-season, the hostel was not quite so full, and I had what amounted to my own room. Beds and rooms were comfortable. Nice communal spaces. I didn't meet any staff members at all during my stay. Toilets couldn't flush toilet paper and therefore had a bit of a stench. Location's a little far from Old Town, and the sidewalk on the walk there is narrow, so the trek is a little harrowing.

One of the most social hostels in Europe. Very easy to make friends. The guy at the reception was super friendly. All good. Keep in mind that you need to take a bus to the old town or walk for 45 mins.

Walkable to most places of interest. A good value for money. Walls are thin so noise can be heard.

The staff and the location. Nothing.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating to our arrival. In a good walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go during our stay.

The location is good. It's not a long walk to the old town, but also a manageable walk to the bus station! Beds were comfortable and there was A/C! There are not really any kitchen facilities. Most HI hostels provide breakfast in the price. Here it's an extra charge. Considering how overpriced Dubrovnik has become, this is not a surprise.

Great hostel and very nice staff! The rooms have an AC and plugs (not enough for everyone but there also usb's in the bed) Also nice lounge. Curtains on the beds would be nice.

It was in a convenient location to old town and the beds were comfortable enough. It was also very quiet at night. The bathrooms were the dirtiest I have ever seen in a hostel. The paint was peeling off the bottom of the shower and there was visible urine on the floor. The kitchen was non existent and was also dirty. I was with a woman who said that the women's bathrooms were much cleaner than what I described.
