Very neat and aesthetically pleasing The breakfast was almost same thing everyday
-
Close to beach The fact we had problem finding the chais on the beach that belonged to the Amfora Hotel. No one knew where they were and it was not easy, until we asked one of the employees to walk us there

Everything was great. Nothing
-
Good location with clean rooms and facilities, good and delicious foods and friendly staffs. Nothing cos I like everything about the property.

The stay was very pleasant, with clean and comfortable rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always available when needed, which made the experience even better. Overall, everything was quite good, but there is always small room for improvement in terms of breakfast variety and minor details in room maintenance. These are not major issues, just small points that could make the stay even more perfect.

Fantastic experience, staff is very friendly!

Their hospitality was excellent, the staffs were friendly and accommodating. They assisted in surprising me with a proposal organized by my boyfriend. mosquitoes where flying all over the room, though I know it’s not their fault as the mosquitoes are due to the fact that the hotel is close to the beach.

Breakfast was nice, but the same everyday. The room was hot at the beginning, mosquitos in the room made my wife uncomfortable.

Free parking on site. Very welcoming polite, friendly, and, attentive staff ie Casey at the reception. Decent size rooms with very comfy, queen size bed. Breakfast impeccable with many many choices. Private beach with umbrellas and sunbeds.

- The rooms were cute - We had a balcony - We were near a beach (5min by foot) - There was a pool - The shower floor was in woods and every time we took a shower, the smell after was awful - Sometimes the breakfast was cold
-
the view from the hotel is not the best. right in front of it is a bluding undergoing construction.
-
The pool was cold & couldn’t swim I was expecting it to be warm and also the Spa wasn’t working.
-
Spa was not as expected.

The hotel is beautiful and located close to the best beach in Durres. The room came with a balcony overlooking the pool area. While the hotel is landlocked with other hotels and apartments around (which meant you can't get a view of the ocean), it is very close to the beach (5mins). It also has a sauna at the top most floor which we didn't use. The beach area was very quiet because of the time of the year we visited. But you could tell it would have been a very busy beach other time of the year. This meant that a lot of the businesses around the beach area were not opened. The few that were opened did just right for us. I loved the peace and quiet. The best part was of course the buffet breakfast with varieties of breakfast options like cereals, crepe, croissant, pancakes, toast, cakes, eggs, cheese, sausages, fruits, desserts etc.. We wished we booked our stay a little longer. I wished we had coffee

The staff was friendly and clean The location was a bit too far from the bus’s and local transport. Taxi’s cost a lot locally. Otherwise it’s ok if you don’t want to get out of the area.

The location is very good. The only thing was we went the low season when it was very quiet and the beaches were very deserted. May to Oct is the right time to go. Also the staff at the desk were very friendly and well spoken English. They were very helpful and accommodating. We decided to cancel one night, and they happily refunded the cost, understanding it's a low season. They ordered us the taxis whenever we wanted. Temperature of the breakfast not hot...eggs were overcooked and stuck to the tray asked for fresh eggs...made us eat the ones that were cold and overdone..asked for tea and coffee they had to go back and forth to the kitchen....would have been easier to have the drinks machines at the breakfast bar instead of asking for refills again and again. The pool was very cold even though the oitside termperature was warm. I .could not even borrow an iron and the board. Had to give it to the room cleaners to iron....1 euro per garment paid 3 euros at the front desk. Then the cleaner expected a tip for clothes that were half done. First time I've experienced in a hotel to give our clothes and they do not give the iron to borrow.
