Whitecroft Bed and Breakfast

Lovely B anB we were struggling to find accommodation for the Scottish Bike Show, very friendly host very comfortable clean well equipped rooms with a great choice of Breakfast,on site parking.The host recommended the local pub for evening meal which was lovely Nothing to dislike

Our room was clean & comfortable & Lorna was a good & friendly host. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options. A short walk away there is a small local pub in the village that serves good food. The location was good for us as it is far enough away from the city to be quiet but only about 15 - 20 mins away from the park & ride. There is also a small country park a very short walk away which is a bit of a hidden gem. The only slight issue was that there wasn`t a lot of water pressure on the shower, but we have found that to be quite a common thing with b&b`s & it was adequate enough for the job, so no complaints

Lorna's porridge is the best!!!! Having to come home!

It suited my purpose splendidly. I needed to visit a friend in a care home nearby.

It was a tiny little room but an extremely cosy one - well arranged, pretty, stocked up with coffees and teas etc, super comfortable beds. The hostess was kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Transport in the area is easily available. Definitely recommend.

It was an amazing stay even though quite brief. Clean room, clean bathroom, amazing breakfast with many options to choose from. Landlady was so nice and friendly. Would recommend 10/10

Very convenient for Edinburgh. One of the best b and b breakfasts we have had. Hostess absolutely lovely. Very useful to have onsite parking. Great pub only a short distance away Only negative was noise of road outside but hostess could not do anything about that!

We booked the Whitecroft B&B as a final stay in Scotland before our flight home. It was a wonderfully relaxing way to end our trip. The breakfast was amazing! And the beds were so comfortable. The treats in the room along with the coffee/tea service included our favorite Tunnock's caramel wafers. No complaints!

Our host was very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely, our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Well stocked hospitality tray. Can't fault the accommodation or host at all.

The location and breakfast were both very good. However, if you are traveling with luggage needed for an extended travel plan, this may not be the right place to stay since the room is very small and not accommodating for multiple bags/suitcases/etc. Both Dougie and Lorna were very congenial hosts, and again the breakfast was very good. Just the tightness of the room.

The owners gave us a very warm welcome and the property had a lovely ambience. We had everything that we needed for a lovely stay and a lovely touch were the complimentary chocolates and caramel wafer biscuits which we really enjoyed! In the morning we enjoyed a lovely Scottish breakfast which we’d highly recommend. Thank you very much Lorna & Dougie for welcoming us into your home, we had a really lovely stay.
