Candlewood Suites Chattanooga East Ridge by IHG

This was our first and probably last stay at this hotel. The rooms were suites and had little “kitchens” with some glassware and dishes, which was nice. But for the price, we were really disappointed. We were given a king room like we booked when we arrived, but after getting inside we found the last guest’s leftover food in the refrigerator and pieces of macaroni in the sink and dishes were still in the dishwasher. They switched our room and were given a double queen. That was ok, but in this room we found the floor by the dishwasher all wet when I slipped. We figured out later it had to be something else, because the floor became sticky even after we wiped it up and the carpet next to the counter was all wet, too. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure was good, but we just didn’t feel like the cleanliness was up to the rating the hotel had. Lots of hotels in the area to choose from, we will try somewhere else next time.

Didn't like anything, place was nasty. Place was nasty, animal stains on carpet, pee stains on comforters, musty smell, wet carpet by air conditioning, and a lot more, NASTY PLACE

Specifically booked my last minute stay because this property was pet friendly. Small area for walking your dog around back, wish it was a little bigger/a little more well maintained. Rooms and common areas are clean. Friendly front desk and cleaning staff. Overall a nice place and recommended if you’re traveling with a pet.

Place was basic but had everything we needed. Had to get more towels from desk, cause only one towel was in the room for two nights.

We were impressed by the room furnishings and amenities. The kitchenette, sitting area, etc made it like a studio apartment. That was a great feature. Laundry facilities were also available. It was clean and well designed.

I had a late check in and the staff was so extremely accommodating and kind. The king bed room I had was very clean, the amenities in the room were top notch. I would definitely stay here again.
