Red Roof Inn Edison

I reserved 2 non-smoke rooms. One was clean with no cigarette smell but you could see large cockroaches crawling on the walls and floors. The second room, the smell of cigarette was extremely strong, it was dirty, cockroaches everywhere. When we contact the front desk, they told us that they couldn’t do anything and that there were no rooms available. When I when to turn in the keys in the morning, it made sure to let the worker know what happened, he just said “I’m sorry “ . If I could leave pictures here o would but it doesn’t let me. Overall, unless you want cockroaches, dirty room and a disgusting smell of cigarettes, I do not recommend booking this place.

Absolutely nothing Everything was horrific. This location is neither secure nor appropriate for guests. It operates as a motel offering extended residential shelter to individuals experiencing homelessness. Its advertisement on Booking.com is deceptive and should be revised. Upon arrival, it gave a completely different appearance from the advertised photos. Firstly, the aesthetics of the building looked old and run down, secondly the lobby where the concierge was located wasn't made accessible to the guest wishing to check in. We had to speak to the gentleman working the concierge area through a plexi-glass who appeared extremely rude after having us wait at an unoccupied window for more than 10 minutes. We were finally given access to a room that was located on a 2nd level, only to be greeted by a resident who was standing outside his room visibly doing drugs. Concerned for my safety, I quickly entered a dingy, smelly, dimly lit room. The room reeked of a combination of Raid insect spray and marijuana with dirty lining on a sunken in bed. As a result of these findings I definitely refused to spend one more minute let alone a night there. Therefore I returned to the concierge area to quickly checkout only to wait another extended amount of time. During our wait in the lobby, we encountered an individual requesting monetary assistance. Upon declining the request, the concierge arrived, and I promptly informed him of my decision not to proceed with the booking and requested a refund. He advised that the refund request would need to be directed to the third-party booking platform. When I requested a receipt for the transactions, he declined, stating that the receipt would be provided by the third-party booking platform. I am very disappointed and would appreciate a full refund as we had to find other accommodation that was more suitable and more expensive.

Never again these picture are false advertisement.. I slept in all my clothes. The lobby was closed , the rooms smell.. no breakfast . This place needs to be burned down ..

Nothing at all The room was not how the picture look and the room smells like boo boo and it had roaches in the room and they charge me for the one night and I didn’t even stay there

We couldn't bring our dogs in the room because it was blocked by people smoking and holding a putbull there, so we checked out early and went somewhere else.

Just run down and dirty. I was glad to leave. But the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. So that was good.

THIS PLACE HAS ROACHES ! all u have to do is wiggle the beds ! literally the worst hotel with the worst guest service, but this is what i should’ve expect from a red roof ! absolutely DISGUSTING . ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! hate this property.

Room Was Excellent. Wifi was phenomenal. Service was quick and easy to access. Definitely considering coming back here.

Had a very bad time could not sleep the whole room was infested with cockroaches
