Harbor View Inn

It was very clean and quiet close to the harbor

We checked in later than planned because when we arrived our room wasn't available due to a leaky shower that had flooded the bathroom. The repair ended up requiring a part that could not be had until the next day so we were offered a refund or we could stay in the room as is. We chose the latter and were given extra towels to soak up the water. The next day the issue was resolved. I liked the room and especially that we could safely leave the windows open at night, keeping the room very cool. I also liked the electric teak kettle included in addition to the coffee maker. The location was good for walking to restaurants, the beach, and the walking trail but also so close to Hwy 1 that traffic noise was constant.

Pleasantly surprised, nice quiet enjoyed my stay. A lot of things within walking distance, which made things really easy. I will definitely stay there again.

It’s in a good location for walking the California Coastal trail and watching all the activity at the harbor. Laid back vibes! Great little coffee cafe next door. Simple clean place to stay for one night

One of the cleanest and nicely decorated places I've stayed at. Perfect location, breakfast place next door harbor across street with nice view. You definitely is the place I will visit again. I really can't think of any negatives except highway 1.could get a little loud at times but at night calm down. Great place!

Ana, thank you for everything at the front counter! The rooms are newly renovated with posh decor and nicely accented accessories. Another noticeable added touch, especially for the ladies are the spa essentials offerings high end body wash soaps, lotions, and makeup wipes, etc. It's the well thought out details for the reasonable price that gives it 5 stars. Great free parking, and not to mention a microwave and fridge! That's a winner for those budget friendly travelers eating leftovers or take-out from restaurant splurging:)

Great clean hotel, conveniently located, with nice staff!

A great find for a family four. Looks like it was recently renovated… modern and clean. The parking lot is neat and tidy. It’s close by the ocean waterfront so lots of dining options. Very close to Moss Beach and Maverick Beach! Kids had fun and enjoyed their stay :)

Property was great. Well maintained and great location.

There was no hot water for one half of our stay. We were told we could cancel the reservation or otherwise freeze in the shower. There were no available rooms in the vicinity for our coastal wedding so we had no options. We were told that the manager would be notified for a substantial discount. Upon checkout, the attendant seemed like we were being unreasonable to request any compensation. After discussing, she indicated that a 20% discount on one night would be credited. For the $530, they credited only $39. Very disappointed overall with this stay and how their broken boiler issue was managed. Check the reviews carefully to see if their is a prior record of this issue. Otherwise, the rooms are good even if overpriced in our opinion for this venue.

We had a great stay at Harbor View Inn! The location was unbeatable - just across the street from great places to eat or grab a drink, and just a short drive from downtown Half Moon Bay or to Mavericks Beach. Our room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable! The staff was so nice and accommodating, too. We would absolutely stay here again!

Very quite and nice place

The neighbors were noisy so my little one and I left for a bit because the desk person said she would call and ask them to keep it down after I asked to move rooms. When we got back, the noise had not changed and the staff would not allow us to move rooms. The sheets were stained and when I removed them, the mattress cover had stains and hair all over it.

Our room was clean and had great amenities like a hot water kettle, coffee and a refrigerator.

The worst staff and hotel. Overall awful experience. Will recommend everyone look elsewhere
