Sophias Beach Guest House

The beds were so comfy. We always fell asleep so fast and slept through the whole night. The best hotel we stayed in on our trip by far! The staff was so kind and helped us rent motorbikes and even arranged an early breakfast time for us when we had to leave for an early bus to the airport. There were mosquitoes in our room and I got many bites which if there was a plug-in fan available it would have been nice for them to not land on us all night.

The place was right on the beach! You can hear the relaxing sound of the waves of the ocean! They have the best staff, very helpful and accommodating! I will come back to the place! None

Tge staff didn’t tell the guest that need to be aware for the sandflies. During the overnight stay we wasn’t aware that there are many sandflies in the area. In the morning we have many sandflies bite.

I absolutely loved my time at Sophia's. The property has a perfect location on Corong Corong beach with stunning sunsets- so beautiful for long beach walks. Both El Nido town and Vanilla beach are either a 20 min walk or a short trike ride away. Breakfast was a real highlight- served with wonderful fruit and delicious- I tried all options. Everyone working here was so kind and helpful- the staff organized a scooter for me (make sure to visit Nacpan) and a boat tour. Thank You so much for this wonderful stay- I cannot wait to be back.

Staff are friendly and helpful, not too strict. They have free things you can borrow for free that you can use when you go island hopping. Things like snorkeling gears, fins, bags, shoes. Food is also good. Our bathroom is small, but our room is big. But I saw other rooms have bigger bathrooms. Anyway, it's clean with free toiletries.

The location is amazing, right on Corong-Corong Beach and minutes to the pier where tours depart from. There are nice beach restaurants and bars nearby. The staff are so kind and helpful wifi everything. They work hard to keep the property clean and running smoothly. The bed was very comfortable and our included breakfasts tasty and much appreciated. The property could use updating overall but there are some easy things that would greatly improve the guest experience Better seals on doors to prevent noise and insects. The shower area needs a ledge so the entire bathroom isn't soaked with every use. Covers for the drains to stop the smell. Hand towels.

I wish our room fridge was cooler or worked better. It barely kept our bottled drinks in room temperature.

Simple accommodations that had all of the necessities. The A/C in the room and the included breakfast were nice additions. They also have simple gear (dry bags) and snacks/drinks, which were handy. I didn't love the location, as I was expecting more of an actual beach but there is not a beach at this property that you can properly lay a towel out on and sunbathe. There are nearby resorts that have this, but I didn't try to park myself in front of these. On the flip side of this, there are a few bars/restaurants on the beach just a few hundred meters away, which was nice for watching the sunset and grabbing dinner.

Filipino breakfast were all good. Location on the beach; we can see the ebbs and flows of the ocean tides. Distance from the town and stores were not within walking distance.

We enjoyed every aspect of Sophia's beach guest house. The location was perfect to walk along the beach and get souvenirs. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. No issues.

It was a very simple guest house, but it was perfect in so many ways. The staff were incredibly helpful in everything and it had an amazing location.

Loved being on Corong Corong beach, away from the hustle and bustle of El Nido, yet a quick tricycle ride away. Great staff and kayak rentals. Nice restraunts along beach. Place was a bit worn, could only find one outlet in room for charging. Shower not great.

Right on the beach, Corong Corong, close to Vanilla Beach and Cabanas Beach, short trike ride into town. Room clean, spacious, comfortable bed, breakfast very good. Little expensive.

The location was awesome. The vicinity to Bella Vita Italian restaurant is amazing and enjoyed visiting chips in the sunset raining although we did not need to go anywhere because the sunset from the beach house was beautiful. The shower was the most problematic. It was positioned in a wave that does not show your head to the highest part of the question behind you and then the temperature was not well controlled hot water and the floor of the shower kept flooding which was annoying otherwise it was nice.
