We had a blast in the outdoor pool with the surf bar and inside with the hot tub and indoor pool. Pickleball was a blast

Nice hotel. A little dated, could use a refresh. I do not golf, so can't comment on the course. Nothing walkable nearby. Kind of sits off all by itself. There is a shopping center with some dining options about a 2.25 mile drive away.

I was also looking forward to relaxing by the pool, but that experience was ruined by an overly aggressive lifeguard who repeatedly approached and interrupted guests. Instead of feeling welcomed and able to unwind, I felt harassed throughout the visit. When I raised concerns, the staff was not particularly helpful or accommodating. The Father's Day brunch was another letdown. While I appreciate that the restaurant was able to seat me without a reservation, the overall experience did not justify the cost. Nearly $100 for a buffet, a coffee, and a mimosa felt excessive given the quality of the food and service. The brunch simply did not meet expectations for a resort of this caliber. Overall, Turf Valley did not provide the relaxing getaway I was hoping for, and the combination of cleanliness issues, poor customer service, and an overpriced dining experience makes it difficult for me to recommend. I have been to Turf Valley several times in the past, but it's been about a decade, yet I didn't anticipate such a let down. Ellicot City was charming though. I went to Mad Chef Kitchen & Bar and the customer service was outstanding, the good was phenomenal, and the drinks were amazing, not to mention the bill for five people that came up to only $300, which, in comparison to Turf Valley, was great.

Nice getaway close to home.

Lovely grounds. Will play golf next time. Courses look beautiful. Outdoor pool was great but would be better if there was a hot tub outside. Indoor pool was cloudy so not sure how well it is maintained. The was no hot tea available in the room, only coffee.

Place is a little tired at entrance. Room was nice. Not a great experience at restaurant for breakfast. Both days they got the order wrong and did not appear to be well trained

This was a well kept resort. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We loved our room location and layout. Top notch restaurant and quality hotel. We also enjoyed the meals and view of the golf course. We definitely will come back again. Thank you.

Courteous and capable staff Everything was very clean, especially the room in which I stayed pmParking was a bit of a challenge. Would be good to have an area dedicated to hotel guests.

I always love to stay at Turf Valley! What I love is that there are so many common spaces to hang with friends beyond your room. The restaurant food is yummy and the bar drinks are good as well. The outdoor pool features food delivery to your chair beside the pool. The indoor pool has a hot tub.

I believe you need to update the paint around doors and walls. New carpets or flooring.

The cleaning staff was not the greatest they even missed a day, despite us making sure when we departed the room, they understood we needed a quick clean. We had to request the front desk bring towels, coffee and clean mugs. A 6 day stay and we had to ask everyday for coffee pods ( last day they left none and one day they left only tea) Also, we had to request TP and tissue (didn’t replace empties). This is not the service expected at the resort. The staff was otherwise friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the large executive king room. I am handicapped and the room was good for my walker despite not being specifically designed for handicapped persons. The cleaning staff was friendly, but their attention to detail was less than is expected at the resort or anywhere. Constantly having to request service gets old fast.
