Breakfast was perfect! Fresh breads, fruits, meats and fresh juice. Coffees made to order in the cozy dining room. It was all a perfect little gem!

Amazing property in the heart of Ay. Hosts were very welcoming and stayed late for us when our travel plans were delayed. Stayed in the Cavalerie room which was beautiful and comfortable. Hope to come back soon.

Lovely eating area, large, updated bathroom. Exceptional staff and cuisine.

The facility is beautiful. The staff is phenomenal. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. The AC kept the room cold through a heat wave. The location is fantastic. The champagne tastings were delicious. One of the best places in Europe! Nothing

Champagne tasting at Sacret is a fantastic opportunity to meet interesting people. All the guests in the lounge sipping bubbly in a convivial atmosphere makes it a very unique experience. Breakfast is tailored to special needs upon request. Closed parking is highly appreciated when the car is full of boxes. For an inexperienced driver entry to the parking may be a challenge.

Breakfast was well organized; for a B&B with 4 rooms there was a long table. A small but high Q buffet with fresh [own produced yogurt and juice] Sandwiches and fresh bread. Rooms are spacious and very clean, and comfortable. Around 6pm there was a free Champagne tasting for the guests. The owners explained the differences. At arrival we booked the " Welkom meal" for the night. It was a platter of fresh charcutiers and different cheeses incl a bottle of their own champagne. Lovely after a long trip to Nothing. We would like to invite you for a stay on the Champagne domain. Cozy friendly and feels like home.

Very good

Loved the area and the property. The staff were super friendly and the other guests were also extremely friendly. The food was good and the contact prior to arrival was super. We wished that we had stayed for longer as we found out about the places to visit in the location and it is really interesting. The champagne reception was a wonderful event to meet other guests and practise our French! Thank you Odile, Laurent and the staff at the hotel. Liked it all.

Breakfast was excellent. Especially enjoyed Odile and our 6:00 pm champagne tasting with her. Room was spacious and clean. Within walking distance to restaurants in Ay. A little difficult to find.
-
The most welcoming hotel thanks to the wonderful Lorraine who made our stay so comfortable
-
Great stay (again) just perfect for a quick trip to Champagne

Excellent location, right in the centre of Ay. Very secure parking. Bedroom was large with a free standing bath in the bathroom. Very quiet at night. Lauren was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. You can do a house champagne tasting on site with a charcuterie: cheese board dinner.

Very beautiful with excellent facilities and a very comfortable bed. Lovely staff. We are so glad we stayed in Aÿ. It is a lovely place. We would recommend it. We would also recommend domaine Ayala for a local champagne experience.

This was probably the one of the best places we’ve stayed as a couple. The people were wonderful. Their wine was amazing! Nothing

The bathroom was fine, a good and sizeable shower, nicely if simply decorated , just a pity the shutters were firmly closed . The towels were thick and soft . The lighting however was not very good . Our arrival, after an 8 hours drive was spoiled by the manager who insisted we perform silly and difficult manoeuvres in a tight space so ‘her boss could pass in his RAM SUV! Not a good welcome and it was difficult to remain friendly, she then marched us into her office, a messy space with ironing board and drying rack…not what we expected of a luxury place….from then on we were rather underwhelmed… The champagne tasting we had been so looking forwards to was conducted on the terrace which was pleasant but on bare table without the slightest attempt to make it attractive…no table cloth and no little bits of food to make the tasting more interesting, very little information on the different Champagnes . The food we had ordered as our evening snack was boring charcuterie and small bits of indifferent cheeses served on a refectory table where the breakfast cups and jam and Nutella were already prepared!!!! Honestly we have stayed in Ibis hotels which had more charm. I am so disappointed as we made a detour to stay there and it was miserable. All this for around £250.
