The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable and there was lots of choice for breakfast. The room was too hot and the air con did not seem to cool it down. Also the windows were locked. You could also hear all of the noises on the road including a group of people playing the trumpet and singing at midnight. The garage was super tight and hard to manoeuvre out and in to.

Room was clean and well presented. Breakfast was nice, with a decent amount of options to choose from There was no bar onsite or open on site, which was odd forcing us to go out of the hotel to find evening refreshments. Lack of staff working on arrival. Only a single individual in reception which slowed checking down quite a bit.

We only stayed one night so not much to enjoy whatever this place has good to offer. Breakfast was good, so I guess that's it? Staff is nice and they helped with parking. I do not understand why it has 4 stars. Not thoroughly cleaned, no safe box, drainage clogged up. The spa is a massive overstatement: it was so unwelcoming they might as well not have it. In the reviews people seemed to enjoy it so we expected good stuff and planned our day around it as we were traveling by car and had a restaurant reservation for dinner. But what a big disappointment. Stash in what seems an old basement garage; big smell of chlorine; hammam out of service; details completely not looked after with things like door handles and hinges completely rusty or half broken.

Although undergoing renovations, the hotel was very clean. Coffee making facilities. No creamer, limited sweeteners (only 2), and when I stocked up the cleaner removed the extras.

Location, staff, breakfast, cleanliness Air con was broken during our stay. The daytime temp was 32 degrees and our room was 28 degrees during the night. Very little sleep as a result. Major roadworks directly below hotel window that created a lot of early morning and daytime noise.

Mercure Epinal is a wonderful location at the heart of beautiful Epinal. The room was spacious and comfy, and the breakfast excelent. We will definetly return.

Had parking We were offered a room in the building site, before requiring them to move us. Clearly booking. Com are given rubbish rooms. The food was terrible
