We've stayed here two years ago, and if anything, it's even better now. It would be hard to find friendlier and more helpful hosts and staff, and everything about La Voile Bleue is just about as good as it could be. We arrived on a Monday when their kitchen was closed, but Alex recommended a nearby waterside restaurant, the beautifully situated Madame Mouette in Saint Cado, which was very good indeed, all helped of course by the warm and sunny weather.

Maria and Alex run a very welcoming family orientated hotel and go out of their way to ensure your stay with them is enjoyable and rewarding. The room we had was equipped with all we needed and included a small garden area. Heating and showers were excellent. The restaurant was open each evening except Sundays and served a good selection of meals. The bar was available throughout the day. The location itself was ideal, rural, but close to both beaches, countryside and a range of sports facilities and historic sites There are no criticisms we could justifiably make. This is a small family hotel and has none of the facilities you would expect to find in a larger commercial outlet and is all the better for that
