L'Approdo di Angelino

I dindn't rate "hotel" with 1 only because 3 things. The receptionist was nice, the view was nice and it was clean. Everything else was disaster. First of all, its not a hotel, its a wedding hall with rooms. No one normal would expect to have full time wedding party with live music and great amount of people under the rooms. When we reserved room there was no info about parties in the same building. They inform us when we arrived that it will be some parties with music but it will be ended at 1am. Same day at 4pm they started with musician rehearsals and whole room was vibrating. Music was so loud that it was impossible to rest. After that when people arrived we had a great amount of people under the window speaking loud and yelling until the end of party. That happend 3 times on our 7 night stay. One night they finished with music at 2:30am and then they were shooting fireworks in front of our window. After that part of the people came on the floor with rooms and yell until the 4am. And thats not all. Mattresses on the bed where totaly destroyed and it was impossible to sleep on them. Also you have nice holes in balcny door so you can hear better the noise from the parties. And on the top of all, when we left the towels on the floor so the staff would know to change them, they just put those towels back on the racks. Also the beach behind the hotel was full of trash and completely disorganized. A big disappointment for the rather high price we paid.

Wonderful view from the terrace of our room. Nice room and good parking lot in the courtyard. Angelino from the reception was nice and warned us that a party will take place and it will be noisy up to 1 o’clock in the morning and he was right. But afterwards it was quiet and we rested well. We appreciated that from the reception we were recommended to go to their restaurant In Trapani for dinner. Unfortunately the restaurant was not serving food until 7 pm which is kind of standard hour to serve freshly cooked meals. But we were hungry and we were not offered any appetisers on display, the personnel there simply ignored us so we left and just had our dinner on a terrace on the same street which was open. So take care of this aspect if you are guided to go to their restaurant In Trapani even if with 10%discount. Another thing was that on the terrace that is common for several rooms we hardly found a little table which was much needed. They need to provide a better terrace furniture. These are only recommendations, not criticism.

Older facility, but charming. Medium sized room but with a big double window that opened both sides. Air conditioner and mini fridge worked well. Bed was super comfy. Location- right on the water outside of Trapani and very close to the road up to Erice. All personnel were friendly and helpful. Serves breakfast (8 Euros?) and dinner (25 Euros), need to reserve, but we did not use. They are a hotel/catering facility. One night very late a lot of noise of talking and unloading preparations for a party. Next night was the party! Loud music all night?the room was pulsing! The only complaint…was hard to get to sleep.

View from balcony was nice. On the check in day we got informed that there will be two birthday parties on Saturday and Sunday. It was pretty loud.

Good location outside Trapani and easy to access some of the remote beaches in the area. The apartment is nice and big with a great balcony to take in the views. Be careful to read the reviews about the noise. We had our first night obstructed by a wedding where we didn’t sleep until about 1am, the second night there was a house music party until about 1:30am with the walls absolutely reverberating. No amount of ear plugs and pillows over our head prevented this. It really made it difficult to seize the day and wake up early because both nights we were shattered from the noise.

The view is great They had live music until 12:30am. The reception is only open for a few hours in the afternoon so we checked out without talking to staff. They then called later and said I stole the TV remote control and they will be charging my card. I explained I didn’t take it and they only need to look in the room. They still said they were going to charge me for taking it. Very rudely. I then received a message saying they found it and no charges will be coming. Why not look before accusing me? Terrible experience in a run down hotel. Find another place

The hotel is located 10 minutes drive from Trapan and 30 minutes from Trapani airport. There is enough parking slots for all the guests. For those travelling with a car it is ideal. The hotel is right on the sea side. Rooms with the sea view are amazing. The rooms are very clean. The food is great. The sea around is perfect for those who wants to observe marine life. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not recommended for families with children. The beach is rocky, it is challenging to get to the water where you can swim. Besides, it is a popular place for celebrating birthdays and it can be loud until late hours.

The place was very quiet and relaxing. The see view from our room was amazing especially during sunset. The bed was super comfortable and the staff really helpful and friendly.

Beautiful view, friendly staff, Angelo was very helpful and friendly with us, making sure we had a great stay. No far from town and beaches if you’re driving. Location is good if you are driving but impossible to go to town and sand beaches walking. Ended up spent more than I planned using Ubers. I didn’t pay attention that’s a party hotel for events and it had a birthday party last night ( they told me but I didn’t see when I booked it) the party finished at 1am that wasn’t too bad but the music can be loud a bit.

Beautiful view from terrace. Real front line. There was no service. We were asked to call the mobile nominee of the employee if we are coming back to hotel after 9 pm.

AMAZING location with view and access to the sea directly from the property. The woman at the reception was just GREAT ? she gave us so many good suggestions. The hotel is 20min by car from Trapani City center and they have a free private parking in the property. NOTHING ☺️

A very difficult experience. This hotel also organizes all kinds of events, and one night they organized a music show followed by DJ until after 2 AM in morning. The noise was so loud our room was continuously vibrating. We were like sleeping in a club! A real health hazard especially for our young children. Breakfast is of poor quality. And even though sea view is nice, the fact that there is one balcony shared by all residents meant there is no privacy - no such indication on website. Unfortunate.

Only the view is nice. It is more a village hall where people do party and then can stay for overnight than a hotel. We received a notice 2 days ago that a party will takes place the day we would arrived until 1am, cancellation was already not an option without losing half of the booking price. We stayed for the weekend and we had celebration Saturday and Sunday. Overall bed is uncomfortable and all the equipment is very old. I would not recommend if you want to rest, you can find better hotel for the same range of price.
