The hotel stay was great. The staff was great. The only thing that is VERY misleading is the parking. On the basin hotel site it says $7. But when we checked in they told us it was $30. I asked what the extra $23 was for they said for the shuttle (which SHOULD be part of your stay for free since there is no parking at the hotel) ride and the worthless basin hotel activity book. The FREE things were not even on the day. So wait I pay $23 dollars to get 10% off pizza and other pointless discounts. Oh and other activities that you have to pay for. The hotel is scamming people. Very disappointing as far as parking issues.

Great location, easy check in. Was a little disappointed the the activity guy- he only answered with yes or no answers and did not offer any suggestions or things to do. There may not have been anything but he did not even say that. I kind of expected him to be more friendly and helpful. The room was nice but the bed was awful. I think it is time to replace the mattress. I did let ve the location and the history of the hotel itself!

Have stayed several times. Always top notch!

Location was awesome. Close to everything we planned to do. Friendly city. The amount I had to pay at hotel was much higher than what Expedia indicated I would pay at time of stay. The hotel blamed it on Expedia. I’m contacted the help line and he was unable to contact the hotel.

Very convenient to walk around, clean and very hospitable!

I booked through Expedia for a set price and when i got to the hotel they charged me another $109 in fees. Talked to Expedia and the hotel refunded $72 but said the other amount was to cover fees like $10parking, 19.99 for activities fee, and 28.97 for reserved Eureka. Hotel scammed me out of another $75 but besides that it was great. If they where up front with all the fees I would have chosen there sister Hotel which was prettier and had more character.

So many amenities and great location

The hotel is right in the middle of downtown Eureka making it very convenient to walk anywhere downtown. The hotel itself has many daily activities. Our favorite was the wine tasting where we were able to go down into the speakeasy. Side note, the duck wontons in the bar are delicious!!

Literally could not ask for a better experience. The staff was wonderful, haven't been treated better at another hotel. We'll be back here again.

This is a historical hotel with all the charm associated with it. We enjoyed the location and ease to shop. You need to park off site but the shuttle is easy and quick to use.

Love the historic vibe. If you’re into fancy hotels, this place isn’t it.

Their restaurant was good. Had a nice game room No Breakfast. Room phone didn’t work. I asked twice if they could fix it. No results. Carpet badly needed stretching. It had waves. The elevator was horrible.

The location Slow staff hot tub was way too cold

I enjoyed my stay, and the staff was great; however, the surprise $40, was unnecessary. The lady stated, “in the fine print, when you booked, it states there is a $40 fee for activities and parking”, the fact that it was in fine print, indicates the intent to defraud the customer, and that’s how I felt. It’s not a good way to start out the experience. The staff being great is the only reason I scored this place higher.

The Basin Park is in a perfect location for exploring historic downtown Eureka Springs and a short drive to The Great Passion Play. The complimentary shuttle services was great. Our double Queen room was spacious with a sitting room separating the large bathroom from the sleeping area. I would recommend The Basin Park to anyone visiting Eureka Springs.
