Best Western Fairfax

I noticed the property is renovated some, but it’s not noticeable. The dark hall way carpet is old and complicated design make an even older look. The sheet and blanket is old, change of it makes thousands times better updated impression. Although weather was raining and gloomy, swimming pool has some algae that an evidence of not cleaned after stop raining. Breakfast is same as other hotels, good thing is a staff is always helping in the hours. Overall, its cost is fair. Across the street, M hotel chain charges almost the double even that hotel may be cleaner.

The rooms were nice neat and clean but a little dated.The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The best part of the stay. The snack choice in the lobby isn't great. I end up walking over to the Residence Inn lobby..they had chocolate bars, chips and ice cream.

Excellent status for both short and long term. I liked breakfast options and clean environment. Staff were really welcoming.

Clean rooms but dated, could be better

Stayed as a solo traveler for work. There were lots of those! The breakfast was good and the place was clean. No issues!

I've stayed 3 times in the last month. 3 nights each time. 1st time I was on what they consider the 3rd floor, but it was actually the 2nd. Both other times, I was on the ground floor. Only one room had the worst refrigerator humming. I had to unplug it so I could sleep—no other issues.

The ac unit, at least in the room that I was in, sounded like a lawn mower when the fan would kick on.

The room's carpet from the door to the beds was very grimy, but everything else was clean.

Although this hotel is a bit dated insofar as the room, it was very clean.

This was great for a one night stay near DC! Helpful front desk staff and a nice spread for the breakfast buffet. Rooms were definitely dated and the mattresses old, but fit the bill for what our family of 5 was looking for!

Lots of amenities and generally a really nice place for what I paid. The room was a little stuffy and dusty. My bestie I brought on the trip felt pretty gross after sleeping in the room, but once we left his nose cleared up and he was fine again.

A little dated, but nice. No elevators so looked like 1st and second level were only direct access from sidewalk, third level stairs.

Bugs and flies all over the room.

I was not satisfied with this place not one bit. The pictures online is much different from what you are really getting. Online the rooms look like it's a nice place to stay. I would rather sleep a dog house than to stay at that place. The bed was sinking in the middle. And room smell awful. I was supposed to have stay there for 3 days. They would not refund me my money back for one day but refund it back for the other two day. Had to find some place else to stay. If I ever come back to Fairfax Virginia I definitely would not pick this place to stay.
