Holiday Inn Express Akron NW - Fairlawn by IHG

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfy. Stains on pillow cases. Floor did not look vacuumed, was bunch of stuff under air conditioner not swept that vacuum could easily go under. Toilet paper holder was broken.

Sheets don’t fit the bed. Plumbing leaked in the bathroom. All entrances to the facility were closed, no direction from the staff other than carry your luggage up the steps in the rear of the building. The cleaning staff were very pleasant and efficient.

Beds were comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our short stay

Great location and wonderful breakfast. Very clean and up to date. Our only complaint was we had a room with a jacuzzi tub(not by request) and you could visually see the mold in the jets and such I’m glad we didn’t actually want to use it.

Location was good Breakfast was not ready on time and the water in the shower in our room was not very warm preventing any thought of a hot shower

Staff was very nice. Filthy place though. Lights were broken, window shades didn't close or open. Very old and dirty place.

Our room was pretty gross. The floor was greasy, the shower had mold in it, the bedsheets felt damp. The fitted sheet on the bed was clearly the wrong size, way too small, and wouldn’t stay on the bed. I was eager to leave.

Bathroom could use some cleaning. There was also no hot water in the shower.

We needed to do laundry one night and there was no equipment onsite. They have a deal with the next door Doubletree Hotel for guests to use their laundry facilities. An inconvenience but the rates at this Holiday Inn were more affordable.

Nice clean room. Pool was nice and so was breakfast. The outdoor space could use some upkeep as it looked forgotten.

Do stay here. When I arrived to the room the heat was set at 79F in the middle of summer for some reason. I turned the AC on and it was terribly noisy. Kept me up all night. Absolutely terrible.

Our room was recent size and clean. The hotel pillows had some smears and streaks on them which seemed just old. The AC was really filthy and the shower head was very very old and rusty.

Staff was exceptional. Very professional and friendly, walking in we were treated like family. Parking was a bit narrow, but hardly anything to complain about.
