Lovely authentic Italian amongst the locals but still a short walk from the station. Biggest bathroom so far. Couldn’t eat in main restaurant, had to get local pizza for dinner and breakfast was in the foyer. Croissant and drink. No kettle in room but given free water.

It is a very simple hotel - B&B really - but run by very friendly staff. Breakfast was very basic but the dinner the night before was fabulous. No menu as such but really delicious home cooking. The hotel was clad in scaffolding but I had been warned about this in advance. The decor is pretty old and the furniture is nothing special, but it was all perfectly adequate. If you're expecting 5 star luxury you'll be disappointed, but for the price I thought it was absolutely fine - and the staff were super-freiendly. The place hasn't been re-decorated in a long time; rooms and bathrooms were a bit tired and I have had better breakfasts! But it was clean and comfortable.

Nice welcome, offered me water and beer. There was a decent aircon unit in the room. I slept fine. I would have liked to dine in their famous restaurant but this wasn't encouraged. 'Better to go down to the beach'. They are having major renovations - I couldn't step onto the balcony.
